Aren't vaping tools just about the best toys you can own?:)

How many Reonauts groove on the cool little tools we accumulate almost as much as the vaping instruments themselves? Rebuilding atomizers has opened up a whole new area. I must have spent 15 minutes looking over the little scissors before making a choice of which one would trim my wick perfectly. My wife donated a perfect set of hemostats, so that took the challenge away completely--little disappointed there. I'd planned on an hour or more on Amazon.
I have a great set of micro-screwdrivers but I found that they're not magnetized. That won't do. After multiple failed attempts to restart a fully removed screw in an RM2, I realized that a magnetized phillips screwdriver is a necessity. That'll take me awhile(no help please). I've only just begun rebuilding attys. I have no idea how many tools I need for a perfect vaping experience. I have others I haven't mentioned but I don't want to go on and on. I'm on the tip of the iceberg. I don't know how deep it goes.:)

Oh my gf had a good ole time picking on me when I bought my first proper tool bag for my vape gear, which is now overflowing and in need of an upgrade.

I wouldn't have guessed this hobby would lead me to learning how to use a multimeter, and (now this one was FUN) building a miniature AA powered arc welder for making nr-r-nr joins :p

Oh! It was so new, I forgot to mention that I just today received the LED magnified head visor from Amazon. I already had an unlighted visor that was otherwise identical but who has the time to go to a lighted area when you're rebuilding an atty? I'm sure it'll cut seconds off my atty rebuilding time.

So guess what your saying is your into your new toy I new eventually you would dive in :)

I didn't dive, Robert.
I was pulled in by the same tractor beam that has pulled so many vapers to their fate as permanant REOland residents.
Of course you knew.......there was no alternative.:)

I can relate but I'm different. 99% of the tools I use for vaping I already had. But that's another problem I have, I've been a tool junky since I was an early teen & I have been far worse addicted to tools than even analogs. :)

The way I see it, I don't mind spending good money on great tools. The tools I will have for the rest of my life, many other things not so much.

Yup, good tools are a good investment.
It's different for me because, being an old fart, even Walmart tools are likely to last for the rest of my life.:)

Nothing wrong with the less expensive affordable tools. I've been on some tool related forums where you'll run into those people who swear they will never by China tools or step foot in a Harbor Freight store. Yes I have & do spend lots of money on quality tools but I have my fair share of the inexpensive stuff too. No reason to spend lots of money on a tool you may only use once or twice, although I can't seem to always follow through with that one. In all honesty I like HF, yeah there are certain tools I won't buy there but there are tools there that will last a lifetime. And believe Iit or not, there's stuff there that is made in the USA. Unfortunately made in the USA doesn't mean the same as before my time.

Keep on vaping & tooling!
