Ares 2 spitting problem - brand new

Hey guys, just got my Ares 2 today. I've been a long time Ares user but it was time to try the new one. I keep getting little bits of juice in my mouth. I used the provided spaced coil, and I've re-wicked twice now. Tried higher and lower voltage. Any suggestions? I never had this issue with the original Ares. I want to love this thing! Main reason I wanted to upgrade was that my Ares fill cap always popped open in my pocket, and the new one has the stopper for that!

I also have the Ares 2 but don't get any spitting. It's possible you may have a seal issue and liquid is flooding your coil. It's possible you may have a wicking issue where you have gaps between your wicking and the wick slots. Recommend you watch the videos on the innokin to see what you may have found. Being that you had the first Ares I'm thinking you already are aware and I'm thinking it may be a gap in the wick slot(s). Just a guess.

I have heard people say that spaced coils can spit back sometimes. I've never experienced it myself though on an RTA.

Agree with @Seiggy, sounds a bit too much seepage and to add it also sounds like you could stand to wick the coil tighter.

As when the wicking is too loose through a coil, you end up with a lot of spitting occurring.

could be the tightness of your wick inside the coil.
