Pam and David, how are all of you doing over there with all the fires? Maybe you should come up with a juice flavor named after the fire. Mayber a good tobacco flavor called Arizona inferno.
worst fires of all time here. Even Mt. Lemmon right here in Tucson is closed to the public for all except the shops at the top. Northern Arizona is in dire straights for sure. This is going to be a bad year here for summer fires. No rain in sight for atleast the next few weeks...
Keeping the good thoughts going for the firefighters and all involved. Hope you get a break soon wind wise and hopefully some rain, overcast, just about anything that would help right now.
rain maker....thats a good one techno.
I've been watching the stories on the news, and feel for everyone affected.
I just flew over the area on Wednesday on my way home from California. Right side of the plane (south), they said you could see smoke and burnt landscape as far as the eye could see. Made a really pretty sunset out the left side of the plane where I was sitting.
Wow, great pic...sad to know that the wildfires and smoke from them created that view...also good to know that our buds at FSUSA are not in harms way at this point...
Definitely glad about that, secondchance. I was glad I was on the left side, only got a glance at the other view. I didn't want to see more than I did. Way too sad. I grew up in California, where they get more than their share of wildfires, and know all too well the destruction they can cause.
The sad part is that aside from the homes that have been lost and people having to evacuate, is that is some of the most fantastically beautiful country you can find in the United States.
Yeah, that's about right. Reminds me that I have to check in on some friends that live up that way in Pinetop and Springerville. Like the name ideas, will see what new flavors they'd match up with.
Pam
