I cook all kinds of veggies on the grill! My favorites are

Onions. I quarter them and then put a skewer so all the layers are pierced so I don't lose any. Cook them until the outsides are charred a little. The insides are soft and as sweet as candy!

tomatoes! I carefully cut the top, them scoop out the insides and mix the insides with Italian spices and cheese and then stuff it back in. put them on the grill and cook until the insides are hot and bubbly!

I went and bought this last night! it will take a couple days for the free assembly and free delivery but I should have it soon!

It is a dual grill. the section on the right is a 3 burner gas grill and the section on the left is a charcoal grill. I love using charcoal but sometimes I want the quickness and convenience of a gas grille. Got them both!

We also bought a grill gazebo. This is just big enough to let me grill in the rain, and when I add lights, in the dark too. Got to put that one together this weekend. It's going to be perfect for my small deck, not too overwhelming but very nice. It has tile shelves along the sides and it is copper colored aluminum roof and posts. I will add that pic after I assemble it.

Padre - That looks like a nice grill! We only have a small Weber charcoal grill. We had a nicer Weber, but when our fence went down after the last hurricane, someone came in our yard and stole it. They also stole our generator.

I know! I couldn't believe someone did that to us. To make matters worse, the generator was only a week old.

I'm so annoyed - we had an amazing bbq yesterday for lunch and I forgot to take a photo. So anyway, I got a photo of my husband cooking the 2nd part of an awesome Aussie Breakfast - bacon and eggs on the barbie.

I can't compete with the R&R (and to be honest, with such a touching backstory, I'm not sure i want to) but here it is anyway:

I don't know if this is going to work... In South Louisiana (where I'm originally from), they used to dig a pit in the ground to cook a cochon de lait (suckling pig). Now, they're getting "fancy" by using what's called a "Cajun microwave".



I can't seem to make them bigger.

I have 2 large mobile smokers that i normally fire up for the occasion! I decided i was going to keep them covered up this holiday and do something special. I gathered a few things from the garage and a nice little piggy from the market and a 30 rack or PBR! Now thats a BBQ!
