Army Dude wants to see the World

Hello Emeraldites....

I know things have been slow, but we've been having a discussion in the Vicks Vapes St. Louis thread, and I've decided to put this into play.....

My son, Josh, who is 9, sent his little plastic army dude with me on the trip I took to St. Louis. He had a blast with the pictures I took of him seeing the Arch and taking a Riverboat ride.... and he would like to continue to explore the world one photograph at a time.

I am asking everyone to contribute to the dream of my little boy.....host the army dude for a few days at your home. Take him to work. Show him the sights. Take pictures and post them here or EM me the pictures and I will post them. Write a bit about what the army dude did while he stayed with you, and then mail him back.

Josh has said that his first place he would like to see is the Statue of Liberty - so the army dude will be going to someone in Long Island... and there are a few of you in EC. I will be asking for hosts in a bit.

We can have a ton of fun with this, I think, and it will be a welcome diversion from the legal aspects we face in our world today.....

Make sure Spikey knows that Army Dude's visit (or at least the photos thereof) are PG. Seriously, Spikey will take good care of him, and, at the very least, he'll learn how to obey instructions and like it.

Between Spikey and Tone, Army Dude will definitely be seeing the sites in New York.

Oh this will be a lot of fun for Josh as well as us! Can't wait for him to some and see me. Too bad he wasn't here yesterday. Had deer in my backyard stealing apricots! He could've helped my little dogs protect the backyard.

As long as I keep him locked up inside my house we are safe Jo.....The Wiz is in the burbs and rarely heads to the Big City. I suppose I could take him to work and let him ride around on the Hi-Lo or something....and Walk might want to play with him for awhile...other than that not much for the little fellow to see....We could just call it "A Day With The Wiz"..LOLThe Wiz!
