I got a few ARO pyrex tanks a couple of days ago, so far am really enjoying them.
Now prior to getting these, and after I had made the purchase, I read several threads/posts about ejuice leaking from the battery connection point. Well, I just had this happen to me and figured out why.
Today I noticed that my tank was leaking a little bit onto the battery terminal, wasn't sure why at first, I just figured the wick was over-saturated or something. But then it occurred to me that the head might have loosened up. So I unscrewed the head assembly and checked to see if it was loose, and sure enough it was (actually was quite loose), so I tightened it right back up. It was nice and tight before I filled the tank.
I then thought, why did this loosen up? So I simulated the "righty-tighty, lefty-loosy" and came to a conclusion. When the ARO is screwed down onto a battery, this can actually loosen the head inside the device. This occurs when the battery contact on the head of the device comes into contact with the battery terminal, and if tightening too much, will actually loosen it.
So if you are like me and change out tanks often, then you could be loosening the head little by little each time you screw it back on a battery. Not sure if this is common knowledge, but figured I would share anyway.
