Can anybody help me figure out why the flavor on my aromamizer v2 plus is not too good. I have a sub on tank which is the Valerian 2 and the tfv16 and they produce way more flavor than this rdta. I am new to using an rdta but from what I'm seeing I'm doing everything exactly right and the flavor is just terrible. I'm using triple core fused Clapton coils with the series deck and the dual postless deck and I've tried a variety of other coils and some of them are kind of cheap to be honest but the triple fused claptons are from coilology and they are pristine but the flavor is still terrible. Someone please help me.

A few years ago the Aromanizer Supreme was the only RTA I used and I thought it gave out great flavor. Coils placement is very important. Putting the coils as close to the chamber/air slot along with coil height was the best way to set it up. The height of the coil placement should be so that the bottom of the coil is aligned with the top point of the airflow. That way when you vape on it the air comes in across the bottom of the coil and rises, hitting the entire coil.

In my opinion, I also think coils with an inner diameter of 2.5 mm works best in this RTA.

I tried to find a diagram online that showed how airflow should capture the coil when it comes in through the air holes. The picture drawn below is a RTA that has the air holes at the bottom. The blue shaded area is how the air comes in and envelopes the coil. I know the Aromanizer's air comes in through the side. Try to imagine how the air would come in and what height the coils would need to be in order for the airflow to envelope your coils. Once the air comes in through the air slots it's going to want to rise towards your mouth piece that you are sucking air in from.

I am using the postless deck as I don't have a deck with post and I have a series deck which is also postless

I've tried everything when it comes to the variable watch and I've tried volts but it's just not comparable no matter what I do.do have a question though when you are wicking is it better to have thin tails going into the kidneys or is it better to have a lot of thick cotton going into the kidneys to catch the juice

You want to have it like Goldilocks likes it...just right. Neither too thin nor too thick. It may take you a couple of tries before you get it right. Too thin and you end up with flooding and too thick you end up with dry hits. With practice you'll know what's right.

On the postless deck it says in the directions to "cover big juice holes in the postless deck (it does need more cotton than the other Aromanizer decks) ensure that the deck is covered by your wick tails, don't leave any of the deck exposed, especially the juice holes."

It continues with-- "Gently fold the wick tail onto the deck, no pressure is applied here, no compaling (I think they meant compacting). The wick tails should simply rest over the juice holes, and make sure the wick tails remain nice and fluffy".

When I wick the Aromanizer I like it to be a tad on the loose side. Others like it tight. One thing I personally find with the Aromanizer is it really gets better as the cotton gets broken in... I notice that more so with the Aromanizer than any other RTA I have. I don't have a clue why that is, or if it's just me.
