Not laughing at your situation, Just what you said and when you said it. I can't tell you how many times ive ordered parts for my Bike or my R/C heli and said the same thing.

I was in pretty much your exact situation a while back-- accidentally ordering 808 cartomizers to go on my eGo battery--I went ahead and go an adapter or two. And as it happens, I really liked those cartos and still use them with adapters on 510/eGo fitted batteries. I think having 510-to-808 adapters in the drawer for such situation is not a bad ideal.

that's what I finally did after much hemming and hawing...I ordered an adapter and then ordered ANOTHER box of the 510 Phoenix. It's only $15.00, the price of a few packs of ciggys I no longer smoke...right? Right. I'm all set and stalking the mailman now
