Oh now that seems pretty cool! Not sure why they would have an amp limit as the carto should determine that LOL Also I think I would want additional feed holes in the top of the center tube to prevent it from catching an air bubble in there.
And I am not sure I get the taper part on the tank bottom unless the tank is bigger around than the base piece it locks into. Ban can you get us a pic of the unit fully assembled they way you would use it with a carto in it? I am assuming it goes together the same as the existing agr tanks then these pics can be a bit confusing to someone who isn't already familiar with the setup. :)

The center sleeve part is what holds the end caps together. Then your carto goes up through the center like a regular carto tank except only the threads stick through the bottom of the tank and the base piece screws onto that so the carto cant slide out. (That is if its set up like the original agr tank)

oh this looks NICE! I like my polycarb AGR a lot...but that is really sweet. I must have one. :)

Question...I'm just getting started using the Stallion cartos and I love them. I see that they come in the punched variety...does that mean that they will work with any carto tank? This one for instance?

Also, can I just punch the ones I already have? (I do have the carto punch recommended with the AGR tank system)

oh...I guess I'll ask this here rather than starting a new thread....the Kamry X6....I know it's an Alpha device....but just wondering if you currently sell any replacements for the top coil? I saw one that looked right but the description said it was made only for something else. I'm sure the two it came with will last a long time..especially since I only use basically one type of juice...but it doesn't hurt to stock up . (Zombies could come at any time...I hate to be caught short)

While there are some of the earlier versions available in the Alpha section.... the Kamry X6 was actually upgraded already and based on the recieved suggestions re-released see NEW Kamry X6 v2 3.5ml 510 Spring Loaded Tank w/ Extra Coil Head [gv-KamryX6Tank] - $10.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

The Stallions come in several varieties... The unpunched stainless should work in most carto tanks but the black and white versions aren't recommended since they have an outer covering. Both the punched an unpunched Stallions are a typical non-flanged style carto that should work in most tanks that take that type of carto. With the slight variations seen on non-flanged carto tanks, I don't think I'd say they will work in all of them, but most is probably a safe bet.

PS... With the exception of the Raven tanks that take a BCC carto... I don't care for most carto tanks since I taste the "wet sock" flavor most people mention on fiber fill cartos... I prefer the cleaner flavor found in the newer BCC tanks and clearos... In short, I don't have a lot of experience with most of the tanks so I can't talk on their slight variations much other than to say I've read about it often.

yea see....I'm kind of a oddball in that respect. I really like cartos and carto tanks. I've been buying different fillerless tanks only because everyone else says they are so awesome. But I am finding that for me, the flavor of a cartomizer is much richer and the throathit much better. What you call clean...I call muted. So it just goes to show why we all love GV...something for everyone!

I'm pretty sure that link you gave IS the tank I bought since I did not buy it in the alpha section. Either way....are they selling replacement coils for it yet? Or is that upcoming? Thanks!

That is so weird isn't it... how some say a carto is muted or tastes like a wet sock ( probably a related cause here ) and how a clearo is clean and full of flavor... then another and says basically just the opposite like you. Well.. you didn't say the wet sock part for a clearo but a similar issue some have is saying they get a metallic taste maybe or can taste the silica wick etc. Taste is an amazing thing and very accurate... it just isn't consistent from person to person.

I propose that taste isn't subjective... it's fickle... :D

yes....fickle is a good word for it. I think a lot of things effect the way we experience eliquid. Taste and TH both. I have found that you can literally wear your tastebuds out by vaping too much...like when your in "testing" mode with a new device. ALso switching back and forth between liquids. Definately medications effect it....aspirin, tylenol, ibuprofen at least for me.

sadly, I just found out that the Stallion does not fit in the AGR tank :( It has a slight bulge at the bottom wear the threads are press fitted in. (a sign of high quality and excellent tolerances..this carto will never come apart) It isnt even visible to the eye it's so slight, but enough that I'm afraid I would damage the AGR base by forcing it. I'm sure they will work just fine on any DCT tank where the carto passes through an O ring.
