It seems there's no real love for the Vortex (based on the amount of comments not the lack of video, I know bad is extremely busy shipping all our new toys).

I for one am very excited to see these come out. I loved the performance of the original Vortex, can't wait to see how these new bad boys perform

I think excitement will pick up. So many new great performing things coming out so fast, there is just a lot to try. The vortex 2 will have it's day. I can't wait for mine to get to me. I now have two options that I am completely happy with. Vision and ce2 deluxe. If the vortex measures up to those two things, I'll have a great carto for my 808 batts too.

Mechanical and hydraulic problems aside, the original Vortex was one sweet vape.

Yeah I really did like the vape. They just wouldn't work consistently. In an unpredictable way. I might be able to vape an entire tank without problems, only to have it stop wicking out of nowhere. The uncertainty of a good vape took away the enjoyment. Even with modding I never was able to get them to work long before I needed to tear em apart again, and re-mod. The new ones should get to me very soon. I can't wait to see how they do.

I don't recall having wicking problems with any of the 10 Vortexes I had. However, that idea tends to bolster the notion that there was a lot of variation in their production. I had ones that leaked though the battery hole right out of the box. ...others after a couple of days. Some lasted weeks.

the flavor, taste on these is much better, the ohms are actually where they should be unlike the originals, the leaking issue while not 100% stopped is no where as near an issue like before, 32 filled and left for 3 days, i opened and closed them to cause pressure as well, i had 3 that had one drop after 3 days, no pool but just one drop and like i said i was playing with the pressure to cause this, so this is much better then the original in many ways, the old ones used basic green glue to hold the cup the base, this time we sent them our modders glue so they could use that which is 100% eco clean. you can wash it off if you want to mod the vortex 2

YOU must let the juice soak after you fill the new vortex 2, it must soak for at least 1 minute, once the inner alf inside the cup looks wet then its ready to vape, also the vortex2 breaks in after 5 to 10 pulls.
