Great review Kc, heck aside from the button I wouldn't have noticed any differences. Thanks for pointing them out! Still trying to figure out which I like best the auto or manual, bah, that's easy, I love em both.

I'm lovin the manuals...sure i liked the autos..but manuals *always* work..like a shovel..

A backhoe might not start, always needs gas, constant upkeep and maintenance..but a shovel works, its simple, effective, and never fails unless outright broken. To me the manual is like that. It comes on when i want it to, and if it goes off before im ready, the quickest release/repress of the button (if you feel the clicks it was fast enough) and youve reset the timer. i can get a 10 sec drag every go with that batt, its evil!

kcOcmp,
Just wondering if you noticed this. But blank carts don't fit on the new manual batteries from V4L. Mine won't anyway.

This seems to be due to the change in the top part of the manual battery where that groove no longer runs along the top part of the center post. The battery end of my blank carts also lack the groove found on VK carts. So placing a DIY cart on these manual batts places two flat surfaces in contact with each other, resulting in no airflow.

Steve's upcoming blanks ought to take care of that though.
