"T" how nice to see you! I am doing fine..we finally moved to tampa..so you need to get a friend down here so we can do lunch again!
Glad I didn't get an insert. Mike wanted me to get one..he hates waiting for me to dig thru my purse for HIS stuff I carry for him! It's better then in Wyoming when I carried his 357! Talk about sore shoulders!

Hi Mary!

Lunch sounds great! Tampa isn't that far from Orlando, so the next time I'm down there, we can get together again!
My husband is the same way. But since my new purse is small, he has to carry his own things now. :)
A .357?! I can imagine how sore your shoulders were! I hope he has a holster now! Maybe there is something like that on ASOTV!

Speaking of which, I have a couple of new things of theirs. A Bark Off: it worked for a short while, then my dogs got used to it! :( I already mentioned the Kangaroo Insert. It won't be long before I wind up with something else! :)

Take care, Mary, and I'll drop by again soon!

I got a magic jack at wal-mart in the As Seen On T.V. isle. I couldn't find it on the website but comes up with a search there. It has replaced my land line for 2 years and has saved us hundreds on phone bills.

Downside is that it has to be connected to a computer and and the computer has to be on for it to work. BUT the good thing is that it has caller ID, call waiting and voice mail.

The unit cost under 50$, you get to choose your phone number and area code. The greatest thing is that if you have family in another country, set it up and mail it to them and you have free calls because they can use the same area code (free with all US area codes and Canada). I think after the purchase price, a year later you only pay 20$ a year for the service. You have to have internet for it to work also.

I, too, got the Kangaroo purse thingy but I got mine at BBB and it came with a smaller size tucked inside. My problem with either of them is the incredibly small pouches. Oh, and the fact they're black and I need a flashlight to find my stuff, even if it's neatly tucked away!

One item I really like is the microwavable spaghetti cooker, also bought at BBB. This is the blue oblong shaped one that came with too many inserts and too many lids. It WORKS

Yep, works like a charm but just remember to stir the spaghetti about mid-point to avoid "clumps." I got rid of my big pot (the stainless steel variety, that is ;p) and use it to dye yarn - its most important job! Besides the spaghetti thingy takes 20 minutes, start-to-finish, instead of the 1-2 hours needed to boil water in the pot.

Oh, another ASOTV fave is the blue dryer ball set I bought at BB&B. We have bamboo sheets and towels (INCREDIBLE things, simply the best - uh, bamboo sheets and towels, that is) and using fabric softener with them is a "no-no." But, in truth, I think using fabric softener, in general, is a complete "no-no!" Yes, they're loud but worth it to have towels that actually absorb moisture!

And, along with them (and another BB&B purchase) are the microfiber dish drying pad and gloves. Dishwashers are a great convenience but I never use the dry cycle so plastic is always "drippy" and my fingerprints are always all over my glasses! I simply slip one or both gloves on, dry as I put everything away, and never leave a fingerprint! It's a little inconvenient, and it takes some getting used to, but saves digging out a dishtowel and still dealing with the smears. Don't know if they ever had a TV ad but they seem to fall into that category ;p

After reading this whole thread I wanted to add the original oxiclean....I love that stuff....the one thing they don't tell you is that it works awesome if you boil water...my grandfather hit his head and bled all over the carpet. My mom didn't tell me about it for three days....I boiled water, put the oxi-clean in the pot and dumped right from the pot onto the carpet. Let it sit for about 10 minutes and came back and scrubbed it. Got rid of three day old blood from the carpet...I was shocked (and I'd been using it for a long long time by then). Even scarier....I found out that day that the carpet was actually yellow....I swore that it was an army green for my whole life....

I was looking at the pajama jeans also....but then started thinking...maybe excercise would be a better choice :)

Now you guys have me wanting a flavorwave....ugh.

I enjoy oxyvlean too..
I think all in all with all the products that I've bought off the tv, I'm still trying to figure out what is my favorite..

I use oxyclean in my rug shampooer. Just add to the rug soap. It really helps clean and deorderize.
Ooohhh..... Want to get something that works wonders in a rug shampooer or just general cleaning and deoterizing, get OdoBan.. This stuff kills every germ known to man.. Only problem with it is that no matter what, you don't need as much as the instructions tell you... To use it on a rug, you just pour a 1/4 to 1/2 cup in the shampooer.. Actually can clean and not even use the shampoo.. The scent is strong, but that's why I use less... You can buy it at assorted stores, and I get it at Home Depot... Used to buy it at Sam's Club... On line you can buy it at Amazon and other places.. This stuff even kills HIV on surfaces... Been using it for well over 10 years and will not live without it..
