I'm looking for flavor comparable to a kayfun. Mouth to lung inhale. Warm hit is just fine, cool is fine, wherever the flavor is really. I have not tried a lot of rda's, but I'm looking for the same vape everyday. I think the only way to get there is with a reo. Am I wrong? It appeals to me because wicking a kayfun can be finicky and I find variations amoungst similar kayfun versions. So I think a reo would be less fuss everyday.
So I want flavor, similar vape day to day, and ease of set-up. Ok so I arrived at a reo. Now what should I put on top of it? There are a few versions of the RM's and modding a current rda but IV never used any of them. So I come asking reoville- what has a similar draw to a kayfun and in your opinion has the ability to also have the flavor. Single coil to boot? And I would like a mini reo to run it on, thanks!!

WoW! You've been cig-free for less than two months and are already checking out the Reos?

Which is a stellar mod by the way...I have a bunch of them...but not nearly as many as some:laugh:...and they're all I've used for about three years cuz i really don't believe there is or will be anything comparable.

The more knowledgeable Reo users will be along soon, but I saw your post first so thought I'd respond.

I only use the RM2 RBA but I only do single coils. The vape and throathit and flavor are just great for me, but a lot of Reos users like low ohm. and clouds of vapor so they choose the RM3 and 4's. There are also a lot of different RBA's out there now.

You'll be bombarded soon forom lotsa folks...so hang on and enjoy the ride!

I am going echo what the previous posters have said, the Rm2 I think will fit the bill and you will find it a lot easier wicking it over the Kayfun. Get ready for flavor because a bottom feeder is 100x's better than a kayfun. My first haul with a reo was a real eye opener.

You will like the Reo. Its rare that people take issues with anything with them, just are just a simple effective machine.

    Hello :)

So, I'd like to start off by saying that we both went wanting for REOs from a Kayfun for all the same reasons, and found all the same concerns. I too wanted the same kind of experience as my Kayfun out of my reo for all the Kayfun annoyances you listed :)

I found that the RM2 with a regular single coil was very similar to the Kayfun. In fact I started out putting the same build as my Kayfun into my RM2 and was satisfied with the results.

And it is so much easier than the Kayfun. Also very nice to tweak the build or change Cotten without having to drain the tank. It's a dream to take care of.

With that being said, after a while of vaping my Kayfun build from the reo it started to feel as if it wasn't as flavorful to me so I started experimenting. I've found that the best way for me to get the same amount of flavor/vapor and maybe even MORE flavor/vapor out of my RM2 than my Kayfun was with a twisted 3mm coil (2 wraps 28g). And I'm still experimenting :)

Based off my own experience, I would greatly recommend to you, as so far everyone else has lol, the RM2. It will definitely translate your Kayfun experience over to the reo for sure.

    Vape On :)

We all sound the same....and I'm voting for a RM2 as well. I notice you mentioned a REO Mini, so I'd like to mention the a REO Grand is (IMHO) what you want. The 6 ml bottle (versus the 3 ml in the Mini) and the 18650 battery (versus 18490 in the Mini) make a big difference, yet the size difference is not that much. The Grand is much smaller than you probably have in mind. (It's smaller than a standard business card.) No matter whether you get a Grand or a Mini, get the LP (low profile) model so that if you do want to play around with different attys, you can. And if you get an LP REO, make sure you order the LP RM2 to go with it.

most comparable to the draw of a kayfun would be an rm2 or rm3 but I drilled mine out they are 10x better now. I have the rm2,3,4,5 and a few (ok more than a few) attys that ive made into BF, and anyone of them out perform my kayfun. Actually I got my reo and the kayfun, 2 orchids, and a Russian 91 and the tube mods to go with, went to a neighbor.

    Answer: Yes. Get a Reo.

Added enjoy your Reo I'm only about 4 months in and have 3 of them best choice I ever made. I started with the RM4 but if you like singles go with the RM2 or if you want to spend a little more a Cyclone.

Only four months?! Wow! you youngsters:laugh: are really quick on the draw!

Quite a few of us (myself included) landed in Reoville after using kayfuns. While the kf feels like all you'd ever need/want in a vape, it is (happily) not. RDA's give the cleanest, most consistent experience possible today and the reo gets you that with the convenience that a tank offers.

Take the advice you've heard - get a RM2 (make sure you get the low profile version if you get an LP reo). Live with it for a time and play with build options, of which you have many more than with a kayfun. Keep reading in here about what folks are up to with theirs and that will expose you to how you can modify the experience as your vaping continues to evolve (chances are very high that it will). If you want to experiment with other atties after that, you've arrived at a great time - more and more atties available for use with a reo are coming online every couple of weeks.

No matter where you might be 3, 6, 9 months or a year from now, you will not regret starting with a RM2.

Thanks for your input Zero! Coming from a former Kayfun user is the best info he can have.

This lady has been vaping for over a year, I started building protank coils right away, used to love my protank lol. I realized I could quit easily after a provari/kayfun set-up. And that's what I did in the middle of winter break. I'm a college student with three very small children. Quitting smoking while potty training two three year olds in the 5 week break timeframe with the Christmas/new year holidays is something to be proud of. Honestly it was a cakewalk compared to all the other 6 or so attempts. So my loyalty to the kayfun is what it is, but the upkeep is cumbersome. I understand mechanical use and battery safety.
For the life of me I can't figure out rda's and their fuel to airflow ratios. Anytime I touch an rda I taste nothing to crappy nothing lol. So I'm really scared to even touch a reo but if I devote myself I'll find my way just like I did vaping in general.
So RM 2 it is. I will purchase the rm2 to start with.
Ok so a grand is smaller than a Cana mod? I watched super x's video on reo's honestly that sold me. Do 18650's last through 3ml's of juice/day at maybe 1ohm? All I'm used to is vv/vw mods.
And a big thank you for all your input it's appreciated!
