Good for you for managing all that is going on in your life. 3 small children would have me huddled in a sweaty, whimpering ball.

The grand is about the size of a credit card on it's face and about as deep as a pack of cigarettes (92mm X 44mm X 24.25mm). It holds 6ml of juice and there is a 3rd party bottle mod you can do to take that volume to 9ml.

At 1.0 ohms, a 18650 should last you most of the day. If bat life is a feature/concern for you, this would be another reason to look at the grand over the mini.

The mini holds 3 ml, and uses a 18490 battery which (of course) would last you less time.

Thank you but I mention it because a good vape keeps me reaching my goal of smoke free while I'm keeping my responsibilities afloat. All you reonauts are hard core and I believe you. I'm in.
I have debated between the mini or the grand I'm not too set on either so if 18650 isn't big I guess that's what I'll pick too.

Cool. BTW, the grand is the same height and depth of a cana, and a little more than a 1/4" narrower. Buuuuuut... it will be shorter overall, since the juice is stored internally, whereas the cana needs a tank on top.

May we have your RW name please? I'm lazy and your avvie name is a long one:laugh:...wait...i could just call you BNW...nah....

I'm a twin also. My poor Mom had four kids between the ages of 4-2-newborn...mercy!

" hardcore Reonauts"...love it:laugh:

P.S. I'd suggest the Grand also, especially with having twins! The pics make them look much bigger than they are.

Deb is my RW name. It is a long user name huh? lol. Never thought I'd be hanging out here a few months ago.
The grand just seemed big but it doesn't sound bad. I desperately NEED simplicity!! I would love to be able to stick it in my back pocket for on the go. And it could get tossed accidentally in water and it won't be dead. I'm thinking summer is coming soon. Walks water and just less gear in general would be wonderful.
Congrats on being a twin! I think it's awesome!! I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have practice on one before it was decided I deserved two lol. But it's just as challenging for them even more so than me.

What would be a benefit of LP vs reg profile? I'm going to use the rm2 first, but I would like to branch out in the future to other rda's maybe so which one is needed. What's a catch cup?

Don't be fooled by the pictures. The grand is no larger than a pack of smokes. It is a really great size, imo. I was worried it was going to be large, too, but it is like the same size as a pack of short cigarettes.
Plus, the 18650 battery life is so much better. I was a 18350 girl forever and a day but you couldn't pay me to go back.

The benefit of the LP cup is the ability to fit atties larger than 14mm diameter on the reo. This gives you the maximum flexibility for future choice, and is generally recommended.

The catch cup is the reservoir around the 510 connection - the thing that is milled lower with the LP model. It's called that because it catches any juice leaking from the topper. In the original days of the reo (pre-today's RDA's), the atties/cartos used could get saturated or leak fairly easily and the cup stopped there being a soupy mess all over the mod. The need for this feature has been lessened with contemporary toppers as they are more efficient at the squonking (what we call the squeezing and releasing of juice into the atty) process.

ETA: Oh, and welcome to the 'Ville, Deb.

Hey Deb, here's a real world comparison :)

Yep I'm a gold elite :). Those are LP grands. I like em much better than minis because the bottle is easier to fill, holds more and 18650 batteries are where it's at :)

I'm proud to say I've never even seen a Kayfun in person but I've vaped for many full moons on RM2s and they are the perfect place to start (and maybe even end).

I was fortunate to get into REOs about 1 month or so into vaping so all I've used was cartos for a bit then went into RBing A's after I realized that it was easy and since then I've become a bonerfide freak of nature about em - rebuildables and REOs that is. I've had every good 14mm atty there has ever been for a REO and now that they have LP REOs I can't keep up so I stick with the two types of attys I love for my 4 LP grands. The RM2 beats or equals any 14mm atty I've ever run :)

So looks like I'll be shouting you out Friday night eh? Another new REOnaut are ya?

Thanks for the warm welcome! It being thinner than a card is great! I need to pocket it some days. I lost that ability when I quit. That's the only reason the mini appealed to me.
So in the end I'll have two American made devices that can be repaired if the need arises, you can't beat that. Always need a back up.

Well I'm all stocked so I suppose the reo should be on it's way within the month. Then I'll be a reo noob first, the welcoming committee just caught me looking at a property prospect, thankful there's no closing for reoville. I'll live on RM2 LP grand street and after that I'll have more time on my hands not looking for fill screws or rubber gaskets... Or scrubbing pieces, or lol it sounds awesome.

Ahhh the catch cup was for carto's! Ok as long as I know why then I understand why I don't need the regular.

Super X- You know, I love Starbucks! I run on coffee some days.
I watched your coiling gizmo video months back, and your reo video was posted in one of the general forums the other day, in response to someone having a problem. I watched it myself and that's when it hit me how fuss free the reo really was. So thank you very much!

You're welcome and Thank you :). I love a killer double shot latte too :) Damn. You had to mention Starbucks though huh? Guess what - there's a vid for that too (my first ever non vape video) "how to make a Starbucks latte at home" and I didn't even vape during it (but I did accidentally say something like "it vapes just like a Starbucks"

This vid was the hardest I've ever made because I've never made a vid of anything but vaping related stuff. :)
