What's going on ECF? I recently got the asmodus RDA in the mail, and it's become my new favorite atty. It's built to last (especially the thick machined posts) like a tank, incredibly capable of any thick gage build you'd like (without cutting or bending the wires! It traps the wire against a solid bottom, rather than a hollow one), has a dual positive post for orgasmicly easy dual coils, and has a Marianas trench-like well that holds 4ml's!

Now (besides airflow) this thing was ready to kick some anus in a cloud competition, so instead of drilling the hell out of my authentic (which I still did to a lesser degree :p), I decided to buy a clone (that I'd researched the heck out of to confirm it was a good one), and conduct a mad scientists experiment on it.

As it comes stock, it's not the best airflow in the world, literally it's only flaw in my opinion, it has 4 tiny 1/16" holes designed to be for 4 separate coils, and they are spaced about an inch apart.

So what I did was drill them into 564ths, and connect them together into one massive 2 mm tall, 1" wide cyclops slot! Kinda like the stillares massive airflow on steroids :D. So needless to say, I can basically breathe through it :2cool:.

But I didn't stop there! Oh no, to make this a clouding (only) machine, I decided to painstakingly mill out its drip tip hole to 3/4" BAhahahaha .

If you look at its top cap, it has a well around the drip tip, with a thick cylinder going through for the DT hole, this made it HAAARD to drill out, but I have to brag about the super clean job I did, combined with the homemade brushed stainless steel drip tip, it looks surprisingly epic. Sorry about the bragging :p, it was just so hard to drill, cut square, brush (thanks Btw idaholandho for the amazing free 510 Dremel tool! ;) ), WELD, all while trying to keep it blemish free.

I also cut off the airflow control tabs since they would be useless for this vapor dedicated atty monster. Since I had pretty much made this thing my own (and I hate when clones use the OG logo), my final touch was to sand the sleeve down to remove the engraving (evenly), clean up the scars *cough* airflow holes I'd made (as best I could, the thing is sooo thick, I'm surprised I could even make the holes! I used 4 titanium bits!), and finally make'er look good and give it a brushed finish, it ended up being a nice matte finish.

Overall I love it, it can be a ridiculously hellacious vape, and doest get hot or run out of juice, I can put a 0.1 ohm build it's and take a slow 5 second pull, which gives me a straight up silly amount of vapor, that would usually require a one second inhale before the coils run out of liquid...well not this ugly frankenstein.

Which brings me to my point, I'll admit it's ugly :lol, the airflow looks like it was done with a chainsaw, and the entire body looks like it fell off the grand canyon lmao. But I don't care! It's a rugged performance only look that I can appreciate, it's not "pretty", and it's not shiny with golden flowers all over it, it's something I made, and it's epic where it counts, I won a local vape shop competition with it too :D, that makes it a little less ugly to me.

I'm thinking about engraving some "stitches" over the airflow so it looks like frankenstein forehead :p.

Show me what you guys have modified! It doesn't have to look ugly, pretty, made for clouds, or even a dripper, I don't even care if it works! Just show off any modification you want to share.
Looking forward to your replies!

Vale onward ladies and gents!

I've been attempting to modify my asmodus as well. Keyword is attempting. I found some old carbon steel bits and have spent quite a bit of time on it and am still not even through 1 airhole. This thing is TOUGH. I'll have to pick up some titanium cutting bits tomorrow, I'm basically going for what you did, minus the drip tip modifications.
