So I had the Atlantis for less than a week and I'm getting a burnt aftertaste like kind of how you have a hotspot in the coil on rebuildables. It's subtle but it's there and annoying.

I'm using it with a dna 30 vapor shark maxing out at 30w. When I turn it down to 20w it goes away. I'm wondering are my coils just going bad after just less than one week of use?

I'm not sure if it's the 30w because I've seen guys on YouTube vaping this thing at 35-40w and no mention of the burnt taste.

Thanks for your help if anyone can chime in.

Make sure they are the new cotton coils. I bet they arent from the sounds. There are alot of horror stories out there. I would have never bought mine had i known. Look for supermarket's thread on what happenwd with his tank.

Just see if they are the new coils. If they arent shelve the tank until you can get some of the new ones with the cotton wick.

I run a couple q-tips through the coil to clean it out occasionally.
They are far too big so I peel some of the fuzz off the q-tip first so it fits easily
and won't get stuck. Usually by the time I get to the third swab it comes out clean.
Pick out/ blow out any loose stuff and re-assemble, refill and vape
Just a tip that has worked for me. Do so at your own risk/ be gentle. Cheers.
