Aspire Atlantis question.

I just picked up an Atlantis tank today for $35, and once I got home I decided to try and do some research. So, it has organic cotton, but surrounded in ceramic strip? it also has a brass chimney? EDIT: brass bell

After reading this I was really bummed and ...... being a college student with not much money spend. But the real question, is it safe? I really am thinking about throwing it away and just sticking with my dripper..

I also know that you can rewick with cotton, but the brass chimney?..

What do you mean, stainless covered brass?

They have new coils now.
