Hello and welcome to the forum. Glad to have you here!:)

I vape my Atlantis at 45 watts, airflow wide open, using 50/50 juice. Lots of vapor for me.

What wattage are you using? What's the PG/VG ratio of your juice?

I've taken the wattage all over the place, up to 28w. have tried switching air flow after each time I up wattage...I've used 50/50 & 30/70...I'm not really a cloud chaser, so it's not that I'm just not satisfied with what it's producing lol I just know that ppl say the atlantis has the ability to produce pretty hearty clouds & im just not getting them!

And your airflow is all the way open?

Here's a crazy thought based on my experience with an iStick 50W: Check it see if there's a delay from the time you press the fire button to the time your Atlantis actually starts firing. The first time I used my 50W, I was really disappointed with the lack of vapor production I was getting out of my RDA, which I was running at 35W. I kept cranking it up until I hit 50W and vapor was still really thin. It then dawned on me that my iStick had a fairly long delay between between my pressing of the button and the coils actually firing...like almost a second. Thus, of the 5 seconds/drag I was taking at the time, I was inhaling air and not vapor for 20% of it. Once I adjusted (by pressing the fire button and waiting a bit before taking a puff), vapor production with my iStick improved tremendously. It's a long shot, but it might be worth checking for a delay.

Good luck.

I thought it was just my imagination lol but yes it seems that it takes about a second for it to actually fire. However, I always take a super little draw n exhale before I actually take a drag...As for technique, I can both mouth to lung and lung. Even completely open & direct lung, don't get much. I actually just pulled it apart to refill & notice quite a bit of juice coming out of the base/airholes. Am I flooding or is this normal?!?

Mine stays dry as a bone. Maybe double check there should be a small clear or white o-ring near the bottom of the coil. Not the insulator, but where the coil seats in the base. I did have 1 coil come without one.

Now I'm worried. at the bottom, inside of the base, is there supposed to be a little plastic like thing covering the metal part that the coil sits on?

I've seen a few folks install the coil while the base is still on the battery, this will often cause leakage and a poor connection. Removing the tank from the battery before refilling, and ensuring the coil is fitted tightly before re-assembly is a good practice. imo.The coil must contact the metal in the base to make a connection, there should be nothing there and both surfaces should be clean and free of liquid. Cheers.

I just refilled with a 10/90 juice, is that going to destroy coils faster? Sry about all the questions, I'm still relatively new (obvious I'm sure lol) & should I use higher or lower watt when the PG/vg ratio favors vg?

Ohh I ALWAYS remove the entire tank from battery. I wouldn't thing that leaving it on there while changing or refilling would be a good idea at all! But that's just my opinion. Ok, I was asking bc a little piece of rubber/plastic appeared from nowhere & I was hoping it wasn't supposed to be somewhere that it no longer was.

I use my Atlantis between 25 and 35 watts and it chucks the clouds if you want

Maybe you got a dud coilhead...mine has never leaked
I think it may have been the juices I was using, kind of strange bc I was using 3 different brands, all same mix...but I'm getting pretty decent vapor production with this 10/90

As far as coil gunking it usually goes the sweeter the juice the more it gunks.
And watts are what you like, shouldn't matter pg/vg. Just more clouds the higher the vg. For me it gets to warm above 35 watts.

If you wanna clean up any 0.5 ohm coil for extra life/better flavour I'll tell you what I do.
Grab a couple q-tips, peel some of the fuzz off each end until it can be gently twisted in and out of the coil.
Once you get to peeling off the right amount they'll clean up a coil pretty well.
I repeat until the q-tip comes out as white as when it went in.
Been getting many weeks use out of a single coil.
You wouldn't believe me if I told you. Cheers.
