Aspire BDC 1.8 Atomizers

So I picked up 3 of the aspires a few days ago. Overall I am really enjoying these and I consider them a good replacement to my protank 2's. I really like how I can quickly take them apart, clean them and refill. That said on all 3 of my aspires, one vivi and 2 ET-S the stock installed 1.8 atomizer burned everything I vaped. I tried over 10 juices from multiple vendors including fruit, tobacco, and desert juices. This is not a slight burn, its simply terrible and the flavor is repulsive. This occurred on all batteries I tried including the Vamo V5, SID, and Spinner. I tried low volts 3.2 – 4.0 and no matter what i tried it was burning. So I was Just about to give up on these and I remembered I had a 5 pack of the 2.2 ohm. I installed one of these in the ET-s and instant fix. I can vape all my juices now in all 3 Aspires with the 2.2 ohm atomizer and its fabulous. So what is up with the stock 1.8 ohm atomizers that were installed in these? Are they all defective? I have read quite a few very good reviews on these and no one ever bring up the stock atomizers as being an issue. I also tried a 1.8 atomizer from a new 5 pack and same results. Anyone out there using 1.8 atomizers on these and getting a good vape?

I have the 1.8 aspires bdc in three of my tanks and have had no problems. I have an ET-S, ViVi and by far my favorite an Anyvape Davide.

I didn't like the 1.8's from the beginning and only use the 2.2 when I use the aspires.

Did you try more than 1.8 oHm replacement heads out of the pack you got? Not inconceivable that an entire pack is wonky. I've tried 1.8s with the Aspire BDCC and it worked fine.

Been using 1.8 in my anyvape davide as well. I hit them with about 10w on my juices and no issues. The only time I got that funky burnt flavor was on one head that I didn't clean well enough. Replaced it with a new head and all is well in the world again.

It could be a bad batch of coils. That has happpened to me with the aspire bdc. 4 out of the 5 I bought caused burning and leaking. Number 5 worked beautifully!

I have the same issue with mine. Gives me a burnt taste no matter what. Pretty weird.
