Try the other coil that came in the box. Only fill it half way and let it sit for a while, before you use. I hope this helps!

I also had trouble out of the gate and I think it was the 1.6 coil that came in the tank. Once I put the 1.8 coil in, no problems at all.

Also, If you can adjust your voltage, start at the lowest point and work your way up to where you like the taste.

Do a few test hits before you inhale to make sure it's firing and don't forget to adjust the air holes:)

Are you over tightening the coils or the bottom when you put the new coil in? I had similar issues when I used clearos like that with over tightening... -sigh- stupid habits.

By coil I am guessing you mean head? I am not rebuilding the head just popped a new head out of the blister pack and screwed it in.

Well, the piece that the coil goes on, which then screws onto the actual tank, my bad.. My terminolgy is terrible. It seems as I always over tightened it, which seemed to always lead to leaking on the center pin. I just started making sure it was "snug" but not tight. That seemed to fix it... but since then I've moved onto cartos.

I'm terrible at explaining but I can try.. A carto is a cartomizer. It has a filler material that absorbs up the liquid. A carto tank is a carto inside a tank that holds liquid which then wicks up into the filler material in carto through little air holes that are punched in the carto when you take a draw.

If I'm not mistaken what your thinking of when you say plastic ones with lots of wicks are like the i clears.. which are still called clearomizers. A coil is used in a clearo whereas cartos are used in something different such as a tank from Ibtanked.

Im sorry for the horrid description... It's hard to explain...I'm sure someone else could explain better but there are threads in the forum that explain them and the differences, though we need to stay on top of whats causing your Aspire to leak.

Speaking of which, if you swapped out the old coil for a new one and it's still doing it then I think its just your under tightening or over tightening it. That's just how mine usually leaked how your explaining.

Ok so I think it was an I/O problem. Aka idiot operator. I was drawing way to hard and trying to turn up the volts to keep up with the flow caused by my suction. I turned it down to minimum started lightly well very lightly drawing and trying again upping the voltage a touch until it started making twice the volume and no more flooding.
