The tank im using that im refering to looks nothing like what phil is using in that video. It came in the same type packaging however this one is black with windows on either side . It looks similar to an evod tank. But way cooler looking. I know it is an aspire product and not a knock off because the guy i get my gear from is very adimant(spelling) about authentic things and always makes sure to tell me how to check the authenticity of gear

Ok everyone i asked for help here. Im so happy that all your guys .... works thats fantastic. But you telling me what you think of the bdc coils and how good yours works is not helping me at all. Please keep this limited to suggestions on what to do.

Shootist - i assure you i am not.doing anything wrong it isnt very hard to fill a bottom coil tank and let it wick. I am tellingyou the coils ARE NOT WICKING there is something wrong with these coils im asking what to do about it? Not be told im doing something wrong ive been vaping for a long time and ive had alot of equipment i know how to set .... up

You say you took the coils out of one. Did you do that from the top or the bottom. On the heads for these style Aspire clearo's there is a silicone ring/seal around the top of the head and a very small hole just below it if you take that silicone seal/ring out.

Sorry I don't know what to suggest.

Maybe its just me but i got the glasso aspire bdc yesterday and 2 of the heads that came with it will not wick..... AT ALL. The one i even flooded the head out with juice then filled the tank and let it sit upright OVER NIGHT then in the morning i pop it on my itaste vv v3 and first puff on it is dry burnt and burns my throat. Any suggestions with a problem like this. I have one more head and if that one doesnt work i am going to just toss the whole thing in the trash. So any suggestions are greatly appreciated

I have one on my Vamo v5 at the moment. If you get into rebuilding coils, you can easily fix that problem.

Shootist - i took one apart specifically to see how they are build so i just ripped the whole thing apart. The only thing i can think that would be stopping the wicking.isthat white part that wraps around the inside of the head and sits over top of the "Wicking" holes..

Tom fuller- i do rebuild single coils but idk if im capable of rebuilding a dual coil as i have not tried yet

It could be that the coils that came with your tank are defective. Before you dump it, buy some new coils from a supplier that you know will give you good ones (check the forum suppliers) and try again. If you still have issues, just trade the new coils/tank on the PIF thread. I know that for me, everyone loves the PT mini's and so forth and I simply don't care for them and get a lousy, leaky vape. Could just be the same for you with the Aspire.

My tanks look exactly like what you describe and I'm sure mine are not a knock off either.

Adamant would be the correct spelling ;)

Don't know what to say at this point... Perhaps you should contact your vendor and see what he has to say.

My vendor contacted apire directly and they admitted to him they have had some defective coils go out fairly recently so within the next few days there will be a new tank and coils and a free 5 pack of.coilswaiting for me at the shop. Hopefully we will be all set on this now. So everyone keep in mind aspire has some defective coils running around out there

I had one today that I had to throw out...unfortunately the b & m that I visited was not interested in swapping it. I just had to purchase a new box ugh! I do love these things and don't understand why more of my local b&m's don't carry them? They're basically a step-down version of the nautilus w/o airflow control...

The only reason i think he is replacing it is because apire is re sending him the full order again. Even the ones he already sold. They are also sending him some free 5packs of the new heads

I just bought the Aspire BDC tanks and coils last week.
I get no more that about 3-4 hours / or one tank full before the coils die.
Absolute junk. Now I know it may be a bad batch, and I can understand things happen. But the ones I have are horrible.
I'm not a newbie, been doing this 18 months.

So after 3-4 hours of heavy use? you are getting burnt dry hits? I know you said you aren't a newbie, but are you letting the juice wick for a while prior to vaping? I know a lot of users say that they have to let it sit and soak for 30 minutes. I basically just fill the coil with juice and let it sit for a about 5-10 minutes. I've been pretty successful, and after about a week I find the flavors tend to get a little "gunky" if you know what I mean. I also find that some juices do better than others with them. For instance, I get over a week or two with Nicotickets The Virus, but Castle Long from Five Pawns tends to lose some flavor after 3-4 days. I have also had some juices that seem to bring out more of a dry-hit type flavor that just doesn't seem to go away. I think that might be from not letting it sit and soak long enough...just my experiences...sorry yours has not been successful...

Yes I let it sit for a few minutes after the new coil is put in. It vapes great for a while. I'm not a heavy vapor--about 3 mls a day. After one tank full it's changed the color of the juice from mostly clear, to brown. Draw gets tight. This is after 1.5 mls.
The other thing is the ohm resistance starts at 1.8. an hour later it's 2.7. Another hour later it becomes 3.5. By lunch it reads 5.2. Readings off my evic.
I figure I got a bad batch.

You have BAD Heads. Seems there "Was", "IS", a bunch of bad heads produced by Aspire and or you have fake heads. The real aspire Nautilus replacement coil heads have a security code on the box, if they came in a box of 5 heads. Did you check that code on the Aspire website to see if they are genuine?

I changed out my Nautilus head about 1+ week ago and have run 1+ tanks through it (I have many clearomizers, RBA's I use all at the same time) and the head I installed still reads 1.8 ohms.

Depending on how you use any bottom coil head, IE how much and how often you hit on it, it will eventually change the e-liquid browner than it originally started out. If you Chain Vape on it the head heats up and cooks the e-liquid. If you don't wash out the tank and coil head between refills of the liquid that gets carried over to the new liquid you fill with.

I've had that happen more often on smaller, less volume, tanks, especially on the Mini tanks that go on the Cig-A-Like batteries. But then I learnt to wash out the tank and head before I refill it.

I would by new coils. I hated my aspires untill recently. Cleaning up my vape gear, i tried them out one last time.
Tried new coils, noticed in one old coil there was rubber blocking a hole,

Any way, the coils that came with them tasted like what burnt asphalt smells like. It was horrid. And i tried and have the ce4, the mini nova, the et-s and another one i forgot the name of. Hated them all till i put in fresh coils from a blister pack. Now im glad i didnt toss them.
