I've been vaping for a few months now and recently purchased a new Aspire BDC to use strictly with a new liquid (Samba Sun from njoy's Artist Collection) and I've had nothing but issues with it, leaking, gurgling and liquid coming out of the mouthpiece; mainly the last two. I don't overfill, I usually stop about a half centimeter or so before the center tube. I'm running it on an iTaste MVP 20W and I keep it between 3.7-4.2 volts and 7.5-9.5 watts

Hello and welcome to the forum. Glad to have you here!:)

First, to fix a flooded atomizer take your tank off the battery and blow through the mouthpiece (with a paper towel under it or cover the airflow hole). This will drain the extra eliquid.

When you inhale, take a long smooth draw vs a short sharp draw. This will prevent extra eliquid from being pulled into your coils and flooding it. Inhalation technique with an e-cigarette

Whenever you first sense that your atomizer is beginning to flood try this:
1. Open up the airflow so when you take a hit you are not pulling in as much juice into your coils (if your tank has airflow control) .
2. Raise your voltage or wattage if your battery allows you to do this. This will vaporize more eliquid.
3. Tip your battery up (and take a few hits). By tipping it up you will prevent more eliquid from being fed into the coils.

Give one or all of these a try.:)

Thanks! I also neglected to mention that my coils also randomly taste burnt. I also use a KangerTech EVOD tank on my iTaste and both that and my BDC (both with new coils, less than three days old) taste burnt at various settings. I was told to give the tank a quick three-quarter turn at the base to introduce air to the liquid or something. It does work, but I think that might also be a very big part of my leaking/gurgling problem

I'm lost on the 3/4 turn thing, it almost sounds like they're trying to flood the coil due to the eliquid being thick. It might work, but yeah that's a recipe for flooding/gurgling.

What you're most likely describing is a dry-hit, or an inability for the wicking to keep up with your eliquid as they're vaped off the coil. Those are 60% VG eliquids, and evods and BDCs really aren't made to keep up with them. With the evods you can do some tricks like removing the flavor wicks to help, which usually works at 50/50 but you're pushing it.

You can search the forum for dry-hits, but probably going to need to lower your voltage further, tighten the air-control if possible, use primer-puffs between hits, and suck very hard as you draw. You can also add a few drops of distilled water/vodka to the tank so it'll flow better.

Something like a subtank nano or delta II can handle those eliquids much better. BVC were stated as an option, but I'd suggest looking into the safety issues before you pick them up.
