Not sure about your particular device but had similar issues with some rigs I started way back in 2015.

If button activated try releasing then re-pressing the fire button when you know you're getting close to the cutoff point. This always worked with whatever device I had the problem with and was really not that much of an interruption.

If draw activated you may be able to accomplish the same result by interrupting your draw for just a split second then continuing on?
Neither option is ideal but probably the only way to extent your draw. Shouldn't take much to get use to the split second interruptions. If it's button fired you don't even really notice that much.

so I searched the forum and couldn't find anything on how to turn off the automatic cut off which activates after 10 seconds. Is there a way to turn that off or extend the time. I cant get a deep enough pull with 10 seconds. Thanks everybody
Unless a true mech Pretty much all devices (tempted to say all but no doubt there will be a couple out there that don't) have over vape protection as one of it's safety features as standard. Usually it's 10 secs but sometimes it's 8 and on a few 15. Devices like pod systems and vape pens have no menu's so no way of adjusting things like that. Even some devices with menu's that are jam packed with features don't let you alter this but many are more flexible and give you the option of setting the vape time allowed longer.
