Hello,
I recently purchased an Aspire breeze 2 pod system to use when I’m out and about at work and on the go.
When it works well I love it but I’m finding that it floods too easily. I know maybe I need thicker juice but I have tried everything to stop this thing from spitting liquid into my mouth. I’ve swapped out about 6 coils in the last week just trying different ways to go about stoping or reducing the spitback. I saw a YouTube video where a guy showed that the only thing that worked for him was putting a tiny bit of sticky tape (scotch tape) over 2 of the smaller hole on the coil to reduce the flooding.
As I last resort I have now done this to see if it would work because I was sick to death of getting liquid in my mouth and with 50mg nic salt it’s not very nice. It has worked a treat but I am worried if this is safe, presumably not but does anyone have an opinion or any facts on dangers of this? At this point I’d rather risk heating the tiniest bit of tape that basically drinking liquid everyday.

I use the original Breeze coils, too. They works much better for me.

I use 18 mg, 70 PG / 30 VG liquid in it.
I have no spitback of any sort.

As I acquired the Nautilus AIO now, I will retire the Breeze 2 as soon I finish my stock of coils.

The newer AIO vapes much much better, thanks to the use of a time-proven, experience--enhanced, classic and universal coil.

I regret the fact because the Breeze 2 is wonderfully engineer, perfectly waterproof and with an aluminium body; the Nautilus AIO in comparison, is a lump of cheap plastic.

(Rant mode on).

A Nautilus pod for the Breeze 2 would have been the optimal solution for users, but Aspire went for a more drastically enhancement, by releasing a completely new (and mechanically incompatible) device, while undertaking some production cost cuttings.

Rant mode off.

The newer AIO allows me to use the same coil for all my drop-in MTL devices, and this is what matter most to me. If the AIO last 3 months instead of 12, I'll buy a new one, seen its price.

Just resent setting aside a much better made device - like the Breeze 2.

Hey Guys! I bought a breeze 2 the other week and it was working great. Without knowing, I put the 0.6 ohm coil in and filled the tank with 48mg Nic salts. After watching a couple videos I realized that the 1.0 ohm coil is intended for nic salts. I also noticed that with the 0.6, I would often get popping and juice in my mouth. I decided to change the coil to the 1.0 a couple days ago and stupidly left a bit of juice in the tank when I took it out. After changing the coil and refilling the tank I now only get a burning smell when I press the button. Does anyone know how to get rid of this? The juice has been sitting in the tank for a couple days now so the filters are completely saturated. I feel like it has something to do with the fact that there was a bit of juice left over when i took the coil out. Thanks.
