Aspire BVC Hype

2nd post

Got some BVC coils for my Aspire ET-S and Mini Vivi Nova -S tanks.

Put the BVC coil in the ET-S and found it to be "airy" compaired
to the BDC coils: less flavor and less vapor.

Understand that I was very happy with the BDC coils and 100% VG.
The wicking was fine: two vapes in succession, wait a minute,
the do two more.

These BVC coils don't allow that because they don't wick pure
VG as quickly as the BDC coils. I must wait much longer for
the wicking material to saturate.

After some experimentation I discovered that mixing the 100%
VG down to 85% VG with a similar flavored PB/VG 60/40 mix
worked to provide sufficient juice but the flavor change
was unsatisfacory.

So, I may try to rebuild my old atomizers or I will abandon
my 3 Aspire tanks.

Thanks for the hype Aspire. Good way to obsolete old stock.

Of course, my coil msy be defective since others have
reported using up to 15 Watts while I'm getting less
than 6 watts of flavor from these coils.

Maybe try a new flavor with less vg to start with and retest? Andromeda from space jam is a viable candidate for cutting. Even when i cut it 5 to 1 drops with vg or pg, the taste is still strong.

Id also reccomend going with an RBA if you dont mind rebuilding coils yourself. Imo, they tend to wick a lot faster than any carto. The rba will pay for itself within 3 to 6 months too depending on what you buy.

Try poking holes in the outside four holes of the bvc heads with a needle. I had the same problem using the bvc heads on my nautilus but poking holes in the cotton that covers the ceramic fixed all wicking problems I had.

Before doing that, I'd at least check out this thread:

Aspire is claiming they are safe because of that cotton layer, and if you believe that, then intentionally compromising that layer...
