ok recently acquired the aspire cf mod as my first venture into mods and batteries. liking it so far, with a protank 2 and a aero tank, seems to work really well. now ive seen the reviews for the kanger subtank mini....i want one, sounds fabby.

question is, is the mod safe and capable of firing the sub tank....my reason for asking is ive seen that aspire do a subohm mod too, which looks identical to the one i own, apart from the logo on the side. what is, if any, the difference. the website for my own mod says good for low resistance vaping.

im reasonably clued up on battery safety, so im pretty sure my battery is up t the task, but just in case, im using efest3100mah, imr18650, 3.7v li-mn 20a high drain batt.

anyone tried this particular combination?

they are both 'sub-ohm' if you want to think of it like that. Both are essentially unregulated mech mods - one has replaceable 18650 batts and the other is not user replaceable (LiPo?). No voltage/wattage regulation so the power is determined by the resistance of your atty and the juice left in your battery! Sub ohm works great with the subtank mini and nano (although it looks a bit odd with that one).
