Can I safely use the aspire Clapton coil mini (1.8 ohm) on my istick 30. It says use 13-16 watts but your voltage at 13 w is 4.8v and at 16w it's at 5.3v. Seems higher voltage than a kanthal 1.8 ohm

Yes,
Start low and work your way up until you like the way its vaping. I would start at about 7 watts and move up. As long as it doesn't dry out on and you enjoy it then your good.

I haven't used the equipment you mention but I take all set ups and builds this way.

In theory, with the 8amp limit of your Istick and 1.8ohm coil would be safe up to 110watts or about 15 volts. Since your mod maxes at 8volts and 30 watts, you will be fine at any wattage or voltage your mod can do with that 1.8ohm coil.
