Just got some vivi Novas 3.5ml. They are large. Or, I should say fat. It's much wider than my spinner. On my 900 spinner it looks like something out of a sci-fi movie. This is not for the stylish, but for the 3.5ml it holds. Will definitely feel self-conscious vaping this in public. At least, for a little while.
The vapor production is noticeably better than the T3, but I just started using them, so let's see how they fare in a week. Based on my T3 usage, I expect the vapor production to go down in a day or two, but still stay at decent levels until the head needs to be replaced.
They come in a nice little box. There is a unit that is already put together and there is an extra head. I got confused when I unscrewed the unit and saw what looked like a head already attached. Not being familiar with this hardware it took me a minute to figure out that I was getting the clearo and two heads. One already attached to the unit and one spare in the pkg. I can live with that. Since I ordered 3 clearos and 3 replacement heads, I have 3 heads for each unit.
The website says to use this between 3.8 and 4.2v, but my black cherry tastes burnt at 3.8 (same as when I use my T3), so I've had to bring it down to 3.5v. I also have Pizza and Tobacco Blend flavors, and they just taste plain bad below 3.8v, but are fine on 3.8v.
Speaking of the tastes, my flavors taste the same in the vivi and the T3. No difference.
These are dual coil, so I expect that the liquids will burn faster. Since I make my own juice at about $2 for 45ml, this isn't an issue for me.
I'm expecting my batts to last less long too because of the dual coil, but that may not happen. I'm not an engineer, I'm just guessing.
Overall, I like the unit. I'm still angry that I had to switch from the T3 because of the head restocking issues, but I can get used to this.
