ASPIRE MIXX 60W

Aspire once again proves to be attentive to what the market offers by making some alliances to improve the aesthetics of its products, it did it first with the German Smokestore to create the splendid nautilus GT, then now with the Italian SunBox.
From this latest collaboration an elegant side by side was born; it's called Aspire Mixx and can accommodate atomizers up to 24mm in diameter.

The mainframe of this mod is manufactured at the CNC with a processing of about 30 minutes for each unit, the precision of construction and the choice of refined materials such as surgical stainless steel and sandblasted / anodized aluminum raise the Mixx to a higher category compared to the classic devices for medium vaping.

The ASP Chipset can push up to 60W, supports VW, VV and Bypass modes, with all the necessary safety protections. The MIXX is powered by a single 18650 battery or alternatively by a small 18350, the end user can then with one of the two simple adapters convert the shape and size of the mod at any time and according to your preferences.

How Aspire Mixx is made:

The various components that make up this mod allow two different configurations.
To change from 18650 to 18350 just unscrew the two long Allen screws (Allen key not supplied), remove the bezel, unscrew the adapter / 18650, screw the adapter / 18350 with the two short screws supplied and the game it's done.

Note: There is also the possibility of NOT mounting the bezel, so we will have the possibility to unscrew the adapter / battery directly by hand to change the profile from 18650 to 18350 very quickly.

The cup screwed to the frame by means of three torx screws has a spring loaded gold plated pin and can accommodate atomizers up to 24mm in diameter without protrusions, the battery compartment has the positive pole marked on the bottom, the negative pole is instead marked under the battery compartment access cap.

At the base we find "designed by Sunbox", brand C E, disposal logo and the 0.91 Oled display ".

On the front there is the fire button in aluminum, built into the body and round in shape, below it we find the word Aspire arranged vertically.
On one side the word Mixx appears, on the other we find the Up / Down adjustment keys, always round and made of aluminum.

The other Mixx profiles in the two configurations 18650/18350

The Mixx with 18350 configuration and with the Nautilus GT Mini installed is really compact; its measurements remain extremely interesting even with 18650 configuration.

With the 18650 configuration, removing the bezel and its screws there are two advantages, the first is the one already mentioned and concerns the speed of changing the battery type, the other allows us to be able to mount atomizers with a maximum size of 26mm.

How Aspire Mixx by SunBox works:
The 0.91 "Oled display shows the graphic indicator on the residual charge of the cell, the coil Ω, the Volt, the Amperes and of course the Wattage from 1 to 60W.
Five clicks on the fire button to turn on or to lock / unlock the device, in locked mode keep the fire button pressed for at least two seconds to turn off the device.
Three clicks on the Fire to activate / deactivate stealth mode.
Down / fire buttons pressed together to lock the adjustment buttons.
Down / Up keys pressed together to invert the screen.
Up / fire keys pressed together to set the voltage mode from 0.5 to 8.4V
Up / fire keys pressed together to set the Bypass mode

Conclusions.
The Mixx ASP circuit offers three vaping modes, with constant delivery; in bypass mode the delivery is naturally dictated by the progressive discharge of the cell.
The management of both batteries seems to me at the level of the best achievements of this market segment.

A good safety package like that of the aspire Mixx would have been more complete if there had not been the lack of insulating material inside the two adapters, this requires you to pay close attention to the choice of batteries, in fact it is necessary that the wraps are always in good condition.

The high-quality construction materials influence the weight, but they increase its quality and solidity, needless to say, in the hand the Mixx is comfortable already with the 18650 configuration, in the 18350 configuration it even becomes microscopic. The Fire button can always be activated easily whether the Mixx is used with the left hand or with the right hand.

The USB port is not installed on the device, this confirms my thesis that it is safer to recharge one's cells with an external charger, also in this case the chip cannot suffer in any way, the lack of the USB socket however effectively denies the possibility to update the firmware, if there is a new one.

Undoubtedly this Mixx is a product with "High End" charm but at a much lower price, a mod expected by many and which will certainly have great success, personally I promote it, I liked it a lot and I will use it often.
