I filled it up with some of my e liquid i enjoy, it started leaking, so i cleaned it out and put another flavour in, vaped it, and damn the flavour is so .......n discusting. Please help?

I got a nautlis mini because my sub ohm was drinking too much. And i am vaping on my sub ohm and still not getting the vapours tongue.

Probably a stupid question, but did you prime the coil and/or allow the tank to sit for 5-10 minutes with e-liquid before using it? I've seen this happen if the coil isn't allowed time enough to get saturated - you can get a really bad flavor. Also could be a bad coil, so changing it could help.
I apologize if this appears to be a stupid response - I'm still relatively new to vaping and learning.

I have found the Nautlius coils to be less than reliable. Some are great and will last me 3 weeks, while others are crap right out of the package.
Pretty much describes most clearomizer tanks using replaceable coil heads. Quality control sucks for any factory made coils/wicks, regardless of brand or model. That's the reason that I use rebuildables exclusively now. If I make a bad coil I have no one to blame but myself. Luckily I've gotten pretty good at making coils.

Having said that, my limited experience with the Aspire Nautilus was a positive one. I ended up giving my two to my son & daughter when I had to leave town. As far as clearomizer tanks go, I think its the best. As with any juice delivery device, you have to learn its particular twirks to get the best results.

I've been using two Nautilus Minis daily for a few months, it's the device I dropping cigs with, too. I have found the coils to be pretty good. As for vapor's tongue, I don't know what to tell you, I have not had that happen, but I doubt it's all the fault of the Nautilus.

You need to drink a lot of water and find a back up juice you like. Get another tank and keep it with you. When you can't taste on juice anymore swap tanks to a different juice for a while. I had a problem with vapors tongue for a while and a guy at a local shop told me to swap flavors every two hours. It seems to be working.

usually with new heads, you need to prime it, and allow the tank to prime for 10-15 mins. the other thing you can do is take a couple of hits with the device off. I've given up on anything that uses replacements heads.
I have the Lemo 2 and the Kayfun V4 just change the wick, or rebuild the coil when it needs changing, fill the tank away you go :)

Well I'm new to this whole thing, but first I've heard of vapors tongue ? I will say I don't really taste any flavor . Currently using French vanilla ice cream 50/50 at 12mg . I figure its because I'm using a Ego one 1ohm so not heating it enough or my taste buds have not healed form smoking cigs so long ! Tried the Ego one with .5 ohm seemed it burnt the juice

I have one and I used it for 3 weeks before I went to the king or tech sub tank and sub-tank many what I could tell you about the Aspire Nautilus mini is that you definitely want to soak that coil first before using for a good 5 or 10 minutes but I don't know if you got a oem one or a clone one. the clone one. Coils just tastes horrible in them but since you are new to smoking I have also found as my taste buds change from not smoking that the flavors changed with it and so did my nicotine level so the first two or three weeks I had a big swing and rapid change of tastes, flavors and strength of nicotine.

They seem to need the volts varried. Alot. Esp. New coil. I had to start at 3.4 volts for 4 to 6 hits. Then go to 3.8 for a few. Then to 4.3. Then yet again to 5.

I seemed to adjust my volts Alot more with the mini.

As my coil got worse. I started dropping g the volt lower.

Usually bad taste. Or burnt taste. Was first thing to clue me to drop volts.

But about a week. Sometimes. 10 days.

Oem coil. Better then the clone coil.

1.2 ohm. Coil was what I had.

But u might try a different juice and lower nic.

I bet the first two weeks. I tried a different flavor every 4 days. As my taste buds changed.

Great tank.

Terrible coils.

I went to the Nautilus after a series of crappy tanks like the Gladius and Iclear 30(b). They gave little flavor but coil life was excellent and every coil was as good as they get. Switched to the Nautilus and found great flavor. And coil headaches. I'd get a couple good ones, then several bad ones. Anything from a couple weeks to DOA. Tried a pack of knockoffs from FT and taste was the same and every coil worked. Ended up getting legit coils cheap from MyFreedomSmokes during a sale and from then on just threw them away as needed .

I loved my Nautilus(s) and they kept me off smokes but honestly I wish I'd moved to RTA's sooner. With RTA's if you get a bad coil you can throw a beating into the coil maker.

Just vaped my last Nautilus forward last week. Bitter sweet seeing her go.

I used the nautilus mini for awhile i had problems using the mystery ceramic coils but after i got the cotton bvc coils it was fine. Usually i got 5 days out of one before its started its gurgling and leaking down into afc. But like the others said get into rebuildables its alot easier on the wallet and you dont have to chase down coil stocks. I use the subtank mini you have both options use the occ or rba deck the rba has a learning curve but after that its a great vape.
