Aspire nautilis mini battery wont charge cf vv+

Hi,


I received my order today Aspire nautilius mini off internet. I have a problem with the battery though. In the book it says that to charge battery screw into USB charger the light will go red when charging and green when charged.


I screwed battery in and the light is green indicating its charged. However on the battery its got an orange light to suggest the battery isn’t charged (in the book it says the light will go blue when charged) I have had it on charge now for 3 hours, the USD is green (indicating charged) the battery is flashing orange (indicating its not) When I took the battery off after 3 hours, attached to the tank and tried to turn on (5 presses) nothing is happening which suggests the battery is not charging…can any1 help please?

I have also noticed when I 1st connect the battery to the chargers the battery flashes multi coloured about 6 times before it turns orange...not sure if that has any significance?

Hi stokesy and welcome to the forum. You could have a faulty battery or charger. Does your battery have a button that you have to click 5 times to turn it on or off? If you are still having problems, contact the vendor immediately.

I yeah its a 5 press turn on. I have tried the usb in the wall socked, the laptop and the playstation so maybe the actual battery then? I have emailed them and am waiting a response I just though u guys might have had a similar experience...

Although when i first took battery out of the packet i clicked it 5 times and it came on, took i puff then it died so i just though it needed charging...

If it's not holding the charge, it's got to be the charger or the battery. Did the charger come with the battery?

looks like you cant add links, but yet it was complete set tank charger battery all by aspire in 1 box set

Are you pressing the power button? Stupid question but I don't know what your experience level is

If it worked out of the box and then died straight off, you probably have a bum battery. They normally come with between a half and a full charge out of the box.
