I've had an Aspire nautilus for about a month now with no problems until today. Cartomizer is 1300mAh 3.3-4.8v. The battery is fully charged as indicated by the green light on the charger. When holding just the cartomizer I can press the button and it will light up blue as if all is well. When I screw it onto the tank and press the button, and flashes as if the battery is dead. I removed and reset the coil, wiped down the inside, and tightened the seals with no luck. I've gone 15 days without a cigarette due to this thing and it not working is pretty detrimental to that. Please help.

What you are calling the cartomizer is actually an eGo battery. A cartomizer is an atomizer in a tube packed with cotton or synthetic fiber. It sounds like you have a short in either the 510 connection on the battery or in the nautilus. The center pin in the 510 connection on the top of the battery could be loose\damaged and be forced into shorting when the atty is screwed on, this generally happens from overtightening atomizers. Or you could have something shorted in the atty or the coil head. Do you have an ohmmeter to test the atomizer? You could always test the battery by picking up a cheap disposable clearo like a CE4 or something at your local brick and mortar for 4 bucks or so. You could also try changing the coil head in the Nautilus. Make sure that you are not overtightening it to the battery.

This is a cartomizer, btw.

sounds the coil is either shorted, or if its dual coil, the coils might be touching causing the resistance to drop/short.

OR, you might have screwed your tank on too tight and squished the rubber grommet that seperates the wires in the coil head.

try SLIGHTLY pulling out the center pin on the tank, and then reconnect it to your EGO CAREFULLY, just enought force till you feel connection

Ah, thanks for the clarification on the cartomizer. Still learning...

I have yet to replace anything as I am currently at work with none of the supplies and this just started this morning. New development, air is not currently flowing through it. If I blow into it, it makes a deep gurgly sound and juice comes out of the air hole. Again, still learning so I don't know if there's anyway that is related or if I'm experiencing two separate issues.

I tried slightly pulling out the center pin, still no luck. The last week or so I've noticed a very small amount of juice occasionally leaking out of the center pin on the tank.

When you say 'shorted coil', if that were the case would putting in a new one fix the problem? Still a couple hours away from being able to try that.
