Aspire nautilus 2 coil

Hi

I have a aspire nautilus 2 rta. On the side of the coil it reads: 1.6, 7-11 watts and 3.3 -4.2 v. So I have been using vw mode. Can I switch over to tc mode without damaging the coil?

I think you're a little confused about some terminology. The Nautilus 2 is a tank, not an RTA. RTA stands for rebuildable tank atomizer - it's a sort of tank where you build your own coil instead of installing one you bought.

I'm pretty sure the Nautilus coils are all kanthal, which means they don't work in TC. It wouldn't harm the coil to switch to TC mode, but it wouldn't work either. If you've got a decent mod it would realize that TC wasn't working properly and kick you back to VW mode.

Thank you hawise. Yep for sure I get the terminology mixed up.
I will stay in vw mode.

You also can't because the coil is kanthal and kanthal doesn't work for TC. To my knowledge, Aspire doesn't make a ton of TC coils, they seem to be kanthal die hards. It doesn't bother me much I don't use TC that much but I do wonder why it is sometimes.
