Aspire nautilus - bad taste

I just picked up a nautilus and i keep getting a dry/burnt nasty taste once in awhile... Any suggestions. I have a innokin itaste mvp 2.0

Make sure the coil is not loose. Could be bad coil. Try a new one.

A couple things...

When coils are new they will often taste metallic. I soak them in alcohol and swish them around a few times once and a while to get out any oils etcetera and leave em sit a while...then shake them out and let them dry completely before using.

Also, if you are getting dry hits there are a couple reasons why this may be happening:

juice is too thick (high in VG)

Or..you need to tighten up your lip grip on the drip tip to be sure you are drawing liquid in as fast as it's being steamed...

Might also depend on your power settings. An MVP set too high will have a tendency to burn some liquids. My buddy keeps his at 11watts with a Nautilus, but I would consider starting a little lower. There's a sweet spot with most tanks.

a lot depends on juice i found that a atty with with a 80/20 pg vg mix will last about 14 days but a heavy vg mix i get about 3 days hope this helps

This is good advice for all replacement coils. I've had plenty of Kangers in the past have a nasty chemical taste when first put in. I soak all my coils in grain alcohol over night and let them dry. Haven't had the taste since. I'm sure others know what I'm talking about. There is no mistaking it and it's random.
