If you're trying 4v or higher because of what the people on youtube are doing, you've probably been mislead. I've tried several liquids in the nautilus and never go above 4v. It's a guaranteed burnt taste, even with high PG liquids. You're probably not going to get the crazy vapour the videos show, just settle with < 4v.

Also, try keeping the tank filled to only 4ml or less. I find anything more than 4 ml doesn't wick very well on the nautilus.

Based on personal experience.

General rule of thumb as I've been told is add 2 to the ohm rating on the coil for max voltage. Any higher and you'll risk a burnt taste. Also this chart has helped me out. http://www.crimsonvapor.com/v/vspfiles/assets/images/voltagechart-lg.jpg

Edit: Find your ohm rating on the left and go right, try to keep voltage setting in the green(voltage at bottom of chart)

i run an Aspire BDC on my MVP-2 and i always start at 3.7 in volt mode or 7.5 in watt mode and work up from there. on certain tanks, depending on it's age and resistance, i will have to up the watts a little. i don't mess with the volts too much since i like watts better. i'm currently using the MVP with a 1.8 Aspire BDC with my own peach tobacco mix, 70/30, 24mg and it is set on 8 watts and vapes perfect.

That chart varies greatly from one I looked at yesterday.

Now I'm not sure what to believe.

I've noticed variances with charts I've looked at as well. Myself I run in wattage mode on my MVP 2.0 and run 10w on my nautilus with a 1.6 ohm atomizer in it. Have yet to hit a burnt taste off it. Also still using the one that came with it and it's been about 1.5 weeks.

8-8.5W seems to be the sweet-spot for nautilus coils. Always start low and work up to your target (even changing the airflow with the adjuster can change this figure by ~ 0.5W). With a smaller hole on the adjuster the vacuum will pull more fluid into the wick meaning that some can get to 9.5W without a problem. Of course this also depends on the quality and pg/vg ratio of what you put in.

Ironically, with a 1.6ohm coil you'll only be needing 3.7V to hit 8.5W.
