Hey guys I got a quick question about my aspire nautilus bvc coils. Ive been off analogs for 2 weeks longest ive been in 3 years (pack a day smoker and im 18).
So Im vaping and I love it but a quick question. With my bvc coils I was told to add 4 drops into the coil and that I didnt need to add any more drops until they run out in about a week or two then add 4 more drops to the new one. Im just wondering if thats a good method. The guy at my local vape store seemed to know what he was talking about but I just wanted to double check and get some opinions from you guys.

Thanks.

Welcome Teapot to ECF. The coils need a little priming. Whether it be by adding a few drops of e-liquid to the coil or inhaling on the drip tip w/o hitting the fire button and let it sit for a few minutes. After that you don't need to prime that coil again. As zahzoo stated just don't take all the e-liquid down to a very low level ( I usually add more e-liquid when there's only 1/3 e-liquid left ).

Also when the flavor isn't good after a week or 2 ( I usually vape 2 weeks on a coil ) you then can soak the coil in warm water or as I do soak them in Everclear....some use Vodka. After a few hours or overnite rinse the coil out with water and then let it dry for a day or so. These used coils really come to life after a good cleaning. This will help you save some money.

Happy Vaping!!!

Priming your coils are always a good idea. Only really useful with new coils.. Anything that has been wet is good to go!

Just how important is it to prime the coil? I wasn't told to do so, as my nautilus was a gift. I barely used the original coil before purchasing a bvc, but once again was not told to prime it. Is it going to prematurely fail? Or am I not getting as good a vape now as i should for not priming it?
