Aspire Nautilus - first head was fine, none others are

I tried reading up on this. I found there are lots of issues with people not having their attys prime properly. I'm not sure if my issue is quite the same.

The initial atty on my Aspire nautilus has been running flawlessly for 2 weeks now. I wanted to change juices a few days ago and figured why not start out with a new atty. I installed the extra one it came with...a few hits and burnt. I figured maybe it was bad. So...I purchased a 5 pack which came in the mail today - already killed 2 just trying. The reason I'm wondering if my issue is different - or I'm just mentally challenged - is because I noticed the atty I started out with looks different. It has a mesh surface on top. The others don't - not even the second one in the original box.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Yeah something isnt right there. The new BVC have a mesh above the coils as you said your first one did. I have two new unopened 5 packs that I just checked and they all have the mesh material in them as well as the ones already in use. SO if you have some that dont, well they may not be the BVC. Also Ive only used 4 so far, but I am 4 for 4 so far on the BVCs being great. They drink the juice fast but they are all still running strong even after a week or more on a couple of them.

I just googled it with "BVC" and noticed packs of them with it on the box, mine doesn't have that sticker so maybe I didn't buy the right version? But why would have the extra one that came with it have been different too? Cheers.

You might have got the BDC coils. It should say BVC right on the coil.
