I bought an aspire nautilus mini with the bvc coil and, at first, it felt like it would be the perfect clearomizer for me. I was coming from an evod bcc, which started leaking juice constantly and a vision vivi nova that was a huge juice hog.
Anyways, the bvc vapes like a dream when the coil is brand new, but after just 4ml of juice or so (halo freedom, halo southern classic, halo Malibu, dekang usa mix, dekang tobacco and dekang Hill) it starts to lose flavor and produce less and less vapor.
I try to not let the tank get to less than .5ml before refilling, as it seems not to be a good idea to let it run too low.
I use an ego c twist 1300mAh and the 1.6ohm coil at 3.8v.
I tried rinsing the coil head to clean the wicking material (which is ceramic in my units, not cotton as it seems the new ones are) but it doesn't help.
I tried dry burning them after two days drying out the window, rinsing again, drying again for a couple of days and all I get is a burnt taste on the vapor.
I tried only rinsing (with cold and warm water), letting it dry and trying it to find it the same, flavorless.
The color of the juice seems to have no influence on the process, as I've used exclusively dark or light ones in an specific head to see if it'd make a difference.
It's a shame, because it's otherwise a perfect clearomizer, no leaks at all, nicely built, etc.
I can't change coils every other day, it'd be too costly.
Can anyone help me? Am I doing anything wrong? Can i recovery the coils with any other process?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.
