Aspire nautilus mini vs aerotank mini

Narrowed my choices to these 2 and leaning towards the Kanger. I like the pen styles, simply grab and go without any fuss and these fit well in my pocket. The Kanger comes with both metal and glass tank and screw on metal on metal. The nautilus however screws metal to glass and the top of the tank has a bit of a glass rim exposed, something I don't want to have to think about.

I have a nautilus and I'm not sure I understand what you mean about the glass rim. The base and coil screw into the top metal portion with the drip tip connection and the glass tank basically get wedged in between them with big thick o-rings.

I would personally go with the nautilus. Aside from it being the most often highly recommended clearo, from personal experience I can tell you you won't find better flavor from other clearos. The BVC coils are seriously that great. The nautilus also has adjustable airflow which is an incredibly nice feature.

    Somewhere between here and there
I'm just the opposite. I'd give up the mini aerotank. If for no other reason than I have to fill it more often since it holds less. I've had both for some time and use both every day. I did recently get the steel tank with the slot cut in it and like it. My first one was the glass tank.

I like the styling better on the Nautilus, but I'm concerned about the "ceramic paper" (read: fiberglass, question mark?) used in their coil heads. Unless and until they switch to something more traditional (I hear through the grapevine that they might be switching to Japanese organic cotton soon, due at least in part to the backlash over the ceramic paper issue), or we have more information about the materials they're using right now, I think I'll steer clear of Aspire and their BVC heads, no matter what kind of clouds they can chuck.

Another option I've considered, besides the Aerotank Mini, is a Protank 3 (the regular one, I think it's about the same size as the mini Nautilus) and picking up the extra airflow control base version 3, with the discrete multiple air holes instead of the analog "wedge" design like in the Aerotank v2 and Mini.

I won't use Aspire BVC coils until they get rid of that mystery "fiberglass/ceramic" crumbling mystery filler.

I love my Aerotanks and my Emow Mega. And I prefer the older style dual coil heads with whiskers--they are easy to open, rinse, dry burn or even rebuild. I like clean coils--and BVC can not be dry burned. But they can be rebuilt with Japanese organic cotton or rayon, which is what I would be doing if I owned them. :D
