Since you have a Balrog, do you also have the Rosary tank that came with the kit? And if so which tank do you like better the Nauti X or the Rosary??
Could you also perhaps post a pic of both next to each other (if you have the rosary tank ofcourse :) ) to see which is taller (or measure them :)

I'm in doubt between these two:
- Rosary seems to have a few pro's: cheaper, more types of different coils available, more airflow control......but I'm unsure how good the coils of the Rosary really are
- The Nauti however also has a few pro's: I like the looks of this Nauti X better, and I wonder if the U-tube thingee is indeed an improvement over the normal coils, and also the top airflow which prevents a major source of leaking seems a pro for the Nauti.........
So if you have the Rosay I'm very interested in a small comparison...
Yes I have the UD Rosary tank also and honestly, I didn't really like the tank/coils very much. I really like the mod though...lol. I wasn't a fan of how they did the airflow control ring, having a loose ring like that made it more difficult to control while on the mod and very difficult to see where it was set, at least on the black tank. The Rosary is a bit taller and had a standard 510 drip tip, so it was nice if you wanted to change it out. The biggest issue I had was with the UD coils, which surprised me, figured they would be great. It seemed, to me at least, that the wicking holes were too small. The 0.5 ohm was a dud, it would not wick at all, primed, soaked, starter draws, nothing helped it. The NI200 coil, the flavor was very muted and struggled to keep up with 50/50 juice even with moderate vaping. The 1.8 ohm coil was the best of the bunch, but for me the flavor was lacking and didn't wick consistently, I would get dry hits fairly often. Some people liked the coils, but just wasn't for me.

I will post some pics later of them side by side.

No sub ohm tank with a MTL coil can match a true MTL tank.

I think the issue was that it was a tweener tank, between MTL and sub-ohm, but didn't do either very well. It's too bad, I really wanted to like the Rosary tank. I liked the compact size and general look of the tank and had high hopes since it was made by UD. :(

Thanks for the comprehensive summation mate!!
i am a bit of a tweener myself...I MTL on what some would call DL tanks, and I like it :) I'm a bit afraid I'll find the nauti X to restricted, but I think I'll give it a try anyway :)

No problem! :) I vape differently at different times of the day. Usually, my first vape of the day and right before bed, I MTL and DTL or restricted lung hits throughout the day. I have a few different setups, just depending on the time or my mood.

Here's a pic with the tanks side by side. Starting on the left the UD Balrog/Rosary, iPV D2/Nautilus X and then a Kanger Mini Box and Stumpy RDA. The mods/attys are mixed and matched, not how I normally have them setup, just done to compare the sizes. That Nauti X is very compact, not much bigger than that Stumpy RDA, makes it a nice little stealth tank especially with the no-leak design.

The tank looks perfect for something like the Eleaf Pico. I also like the frosted glass option for it. That would make for a great stealth setup.

The frosted glass does look cool...but then I noticed that the Aspire name is printed on it, which I think kinda ruins the look. Just fyi to take note of that.

Yeah, I really couldn't tell if it was on the glass, or just photshopped in for the promo material. Too bad, because I really like that frosted look.

Welp- GrimmGreen on his newest video says the Naut X is "Absolute Garbage" Specifically on flavor. He says its basically non existent. He really goes on and on about how bad it is. About 1hr 13min in.

I've seen a few other videos sort of mention that it's okay. Based on my experiences...if flavor is ever even a question, I'm not going enjoy it. I'm officially out :/

The 'Burgh, PA.
I then put in some 50/50 juice (rum tobacco), same thing, no dry hits and kept up even when chain vaping.

Hey Road...nice review...

I'm a confirmed MTL Tootle Puffer...and use 50/50 ejoose.

Got a GS-Tank...can't seem to get rid of the gurgling ...

Got a Cubis...can't seem to get rid of the gurgling...

So...(obvious) question...any gurgling/flooding with 50/50 ejoose in the Nautilus X ???

Well that's kind of a bummer. I'd wait for some more reviews to come in. Aspire usually is reliable for performance for MTL. Hard to think they would introduce something with the Nautilus brand on it that's going to drag down their rep for the MTL crowd.

Then again, I'll admit I was really considering the Pico for a small runaraound mod (before even thinking about the X for it) but ended up going for the side by side Plato. 50W, TC, 5.6 ml internal glass tank, and either Nautilus or Triton mini coils, 1 replaceable battery. They also give you a subohm 0.4 coil with the kit, but replacement subohm Plato coils are Plato only (the chimney is integral). I have to say for MTL it's been great, with excellent taste on the 1.8 BVC at 7.5 W using Halo's Tribeca.

Still, it's always nice to know other options, and this was one I wanted to consider. Maybe let some more early adopters give it a spin before leaping. At least I'm happy with my Plato, so no rush for a little stealthy setup at the moment.

I'm very surprised hearing Grimm's first impression. Is it as good as an RDA? No, of course not, no pre-made coil will match that. I find the flavor really good and I predominantly use RDA/RTAs. It could very well be a bum coil. I've gotten dud coils before for other tanks. Like @Eskie said above check out other reviews and get their take on it. Personally, I've been enjoying mine and it will be part of the rotation. I do hope they make an RBA for it though.

I've gone through 8 tanks now, with three tankfuls of 50/50, and no gurgling, flooding or spitback. It's been vaping very smooth.
Most of my juice is 70%vg and handles it surprisingly well. I have some Charlie Noble's Raspberry Ripple Ice Cream in it right now and it's 77%vg, it handles that without any problems.

Yeah, it's a tough one...the other video I was referring to was 2 sub ohm people, and they didn't seem thrilled with the flavor either, but I do wonder if it's apples to oranges. I'd like to hear more reviews from a hardcore MTL type person for more relevance.

Out of curiosity, do you have a Cubis? That was the last time I heard lots of talk about flavor, and it seemed to be really hit and miss for various people. Maybe a comparison to it on flavor would be useful.

Im not going to have time to properly talk about my views on the Nautilus X flavour and I want to spend longer vaping on it first anyway, as its been less than a day so far.

I certainly love everything else about the tank. The drip tip normally stays nice and cool, but I have had about 4 random 'ouch that was a hot one' experiences from it.

I don't know about the flavour. Sometimes I think it is great, sometimes not great at all. The vapour is certainly nowhere near as 'wet' as, for example, the triton 1.8 coils. If I close the airflow off to the tiniest hole then the vapour is probably a bit to dry and 'scratchy' for me. The Cubis with the clapton coil that comes with it is my only comparison to other top-flow tanks, and there are similarities in terms of aspects of the taste that people can't agree on, or that seems a bit rubbish. I'm tempted to say I prefer the good old nautilus BVC coils when used with the Plato to this, but I might change my mind later today.
