After using my EMOW and growing to love it everyone I know loves their nautilus and I now believe that taste of liquid can be better in certain tanks than others. I'm debating pretty heavily now on if I want to go back soon and get the nautilus and if I do if I would rather have BVCs or BDCs or a combination. Any thoughts? Or Tips on using the nautilus?

After trying several other tanks (although not all of them lol), I'd say the Nautilus is an excellent choice for a smooth vape full of flavor and a decent to good cloud, depending on juice. For $20, the worst you can do is not like it and gift/sell it to someone else. Give it a shot, you won't regret it. Just make sure you get the BVC and you'll be set :)

I have both the mini and the full-sized Nautilus, and I'm loving them both. The BVC coils really do provide great flavor and vape. But I have to say that, much to my surprise after listening to all the hype, when I tried the BDCs in my full-sized Nautilus I got really great results there too. So if you're concerned about the filler in the BVC, give the BDCs a try. They're working really well for me!

Or you could get the kanger sub nano with 1.2 ohm coils that has the new wicks.....

Agreed, now that the Nano is out it directly competes with the Nautlius and the Nautilus Mini. With the option to run the 1.2ohm and the sub ohm coils it really looks like a more versatile tank. From the reviews I've seen it looks like it will have better flavor/vapor as well for the same price point.

I own two full-sized Nautiluses and still have a few BDC coils, aside from the newer BVC's.
It's an excellent clearomizer, one whisker away from being the best, in my book. Rebuildables not included, OK?

The main difference between BDC and BVC is that the BVCs tend to last way longer and to give a slightly better flavor. But their performances are heavily juice-dependent and battery-dependent. One freshly and fully filled Nautilus will taste and perform differently on different batteries or mods.

In my obviously subjective opinion, it held up pretty well and it's still a good buy.

Tips? Prime the coils before use and let them soak a good minimum ten minutes. After filling and screwing everything in place, let it sit that way some more. Start from the largest hole and work your way down (if you so choose). Try not to burn the coil with high wattage or voltage - you'll ruin your experience. BDC coils are rebuildable! (rather tough, but perfectly possible). Clean the tank (minus the coil) thoroughly after 2-3 fills. Don't break the glass (heh), or buy the SS (or GSS) tank(s). Also, don't drop it - it's press-fitted and you may lose some important parts if it gets gutted all over.

So it does go through juice pretty quickly?

Well, that's a tough one. The answer depends on multiple factors: your vaping habits, the liquid (quality and consistency, nicotine concentration or even flavor), the coil (type, age etc.) and the wattage (or voltage) one uses.
I can vape a full tank in a week, or in under 6 hours. Pretty loose, eh?
But just as a general rule of thumb, BVCs burn more liquid than BDCs.
I hope this helps. :)

Thank you it does. And I actually figured that BDCs would burn more than BVCs where's it's a dual coil instead of single and also my local store has the Nautilus for 27.98 and come the 12th of February I'll have a 10% off coupon for an entire purchase so with all of that will I be paying a good price for the tank?

So I had been considering the mini nautilus as well, but seeing that the BVC coils seem to only come in 1.6 & 1.8 ohms. What would be a comparable alternative where you can get a higher ohm coil? I've only used the CF4 type of tanks and a pro tank II mini aside from a short lived stint with cartomizer tanks I am looking for a smaller tank and liked the idea of the adjustable air flow but know that I probably won't like that low of resistance, I'd like to keep it more standard 2.4 2.5 range. Any idea's?
