First of all, hello!
Im new to vaping, just started a few days ago.
So I got an Aspire premium starter kit (Nautilus Mini Tank + Aspire CF VV+ Batt) from a friend, bought from a year or so, but he never used it.
I got a really good vapor production from this, but the flavor is very very mild, or even non-existent sometimes. is this normal or my kit is faulty?
things i have tried:
-replacing the coil (the box comes with 5 spare coils)
-"priming" the coil
-changing the juice with creamier flavor
-amping up the voltage (3.3V - 4.8V)
-tried all airflow levels
-fully charging the batt
-moving the tank to my friend's mod
Changing the juice with creamier flavor improved the flavor a little bit, but it's still very very mild. Any advice?
Thx guys!
P.S. not a native english speaker, sorry for the (sometimes) bad/weird grammar :p

The problem will almost certainly be your liquid, unless you have clone coils.
The flavor from Nautilus BVC is quite good; it's not like the best ever but way better than many other coils. I would use it at a minimum of 4.5v.
In all seriousness, don't fuss too much with the equipment - it's a good tank.

thanks for the advice guys!
tried changing the liquid to flavor to a creamier one (Coffee & cream), im starting to get a good flavor, 4.3V and second to last airflow level is the sweet spot for me!
Welcome and glad you joined. As you know vaping, there are many variables that can be adjusted to increase flavo.r Some variables:
Type of vaporizer
Type of Juice
Temperature
Coil type
Wick type
etc. many more.

I was going to ask ask which coils you are using, the 1.8Ω or the 1.6Ω and at what wattage? Since the tank is a year old Aspire did change the way the BVC coils are made in 2 ways. They are using organic cotton and made the holes in the coils a little bigger.

it's the 1.8Ω and I was vaping it at 4.3V, so around 10W.

I run the 1.6Ω BVC coils at 9.5W to 11.5W depending on the e-Liquid and have run the 1.8Ω up to 12 watts. Glad you found the problem because the Nuatilus Mini was my first tank and now I have 3 for daily use.
yep! I'm really loving the Nautilus Mini, for an ex-smoker (a heavy one) it did the job of delivering the mouth-to-lung hits. noobish question, what does the coil resistance affect? flavor? vapor production?
