Here's an interesting new Aspire product. A 4-in-1 survival kit. You can configure this atty into an rda, bf rda, genesis tank or nautilus x tank. Capacity for the tanks appears to be 2ml.

There are airflow options as well; top or side.

I'm not sure whether or not any or all of the options will work as good as a stand alone device but I'm willing to give it a try.

Received this device for testing purposes yesterday. Being a Limitless Plus (genesis tank) fan I immediately built up the genny with the supplied clapton coils. Niiiiice at 70w with the airflow about 80% open. Flavor seems very close to the L+ but vapor density is not quite there yet. The claptons are 3mm, maybe too large for this atty. I'll try some 24g 2.5mm kanthal coils next.

Update: The wicktails were too tight in the juice channels so I pushed a small screwdriver in there to open up small holes. Much better now. Thick dense vapor now. Flavor is now very very close to the L+.

I saw in the package listing an entry for a 510 drip tip adapter. Is there a way to employ that to create a Nautilus X configuration using a standard drip tip?

I don't think so. The top cap for naut x config does not appear to disassemble so that the dt adaptor can be installed. The airflow control is integrated there. The delrin drip tip (sleeve actually) on the naut-x top cap seems pretty nice though.

QUAD FLEX REVIEW

NAUTILUS X TANK CONFIG
Configured as an X tank it is actually an X tank in every way. I'm reasonably sure that all the parts would be interchangeable with the original. Vaping range is from 12-20w. Tootle puffing to tight lung hits produce decent flavor.
5 Stars (out of 5) if you love Nautilus X tanks.

RDTA (Genesis Tank) CONFIG
This configuration steps things up quite a bit. Easy to build velocity style deck, top and side airflow options, single or dual coil options as well as a 510 drip tip adapter allows this configuration to be useful from 25-100+ watts. The flavor is excellent and cloud production is thick.
It's basically an RDA (Dripper) with a 2ml reservoir.
Wicking is straight forward and can be wicked tighter through the juice holes for leak free vaping at up to 60w or wicked looser for 100+ watts where leaking is inevitable when placed on its side (lying down).
The top caps are domed inside, both produce similar flavor and are both indexed to align with the center of the build deck. Both top caps have delrin inners sleeves. The top airflow cap has channels which deliver the air downward in between inner and outer sleeves and then exits the air to the coils at the same height as the side airflow cap. Swapping top caps requires no realignment of the coils or cap.
4.25 Stars (out of 5)

RDA CONFIG
The RDA config is just the RDTA config with the tank removed and an adapter plate installed. It uses the same two top caps and build deck flavor and cloud production are very close to identical. A little higher power levels can be reached in this config due to the elimination of juice flow issues.
4.25 Stars (out of 5)

SQUONKER (Bottom feed) RDA.
Same as the RDA except that a bottom feed positive pin can be easily installed to allow for use on a squonker box mod.
4.25 Stars (out of 5)

TEMP CONTROL COMPATABILTY
I have not as yet tried a TC build with this device but will say this, there is one extra point of contact for the positive pin when configured for the RDTA. Monitoring the res of my kanthal builds it appears to be stable enough for TC if the pos pin contact points are kept immaculately clean. Care must be taken to avoid allowing juice to migrate down into the RDTA lower extension tube where one of the positive pin contact points are located.

Overall this survival kit is a great option for noobs and experienced vapers alike. Noobs can start with the Naut-X config at lower power levels and then move up in flavor and cloud production as they gain experience in building coils. Experienced vapers can jump right in and build on the RDTA or RDA and get a great vape with flavor that rivals some of the best Genny tanks and Drippers out there.

Would I recommend this product to my friends? Yes I would!!

I didn't see a single coil plug in the pictures I saw of this package, could you elaborate on the single coil option? Is it a plug, another deck, or a DIY solution (as in: plug the other hole with some cotton)?

You have a sharp eye drugarth. Yes, no plug. As you said, the two unused juice holes would have to be plugged for leak proofing. In addition, only the side airflow cap has the single/dual coil option. As I mentioned earlier, the top airflow cap has a fixed inner sleeve, so using it would bring in direct airflow as well as indirect airflow to a single coil. Might be nice that way but I haven't tried a single coil yet.

In RDTA mode how do the two airflow options compare? I would think the top airflow would be better for avoiding leakage.

Almost identical flavor. So much so that I often forget which one I'm using. I haven't experienced leaking with either cap when I wick the juice holes heavy for lower power (60-ish watts) vaping. When I wick the juice holes lighter (thin the wicktails) for 70+ watts vaping it leaks sometimes when on it's side. When I wick the juice holes very light for max power (90+ watts) it leaks for sure when on its side, but then I expect that.
Perhaps what this deck needs is 3mm juice holes. That way we can run 3mm coils, feed them through the juice holes without thinning them and still vape at 80+ watts without running the risk of leaking when on its side. As it is, 2.5mm coils would probably be a good fit for wicking through the factory juice holes.

Well, my survival kit is gone! I made the mistake of taking it to my favorite local b&m. Everyone gathered around fascinated by the wonder of it all. I left it with the shop folks to play with for a while and to get customer feedback. The shop guys and girls just love the concept and especially the performance of the RDTA and RDA setups.

I got my Aspire Quad-Flex from Heaven Gifts a few days ago and it's an interesting system. It's a 22mm with a decent velocity style deck and easy to build on. It's a 22mm, so it's not gonna fit big builds, but it will fit some decent sized Claptons. The build quality is really nice, everything fits well the connections are all smooth, no gaps, no leaks, no seeping. It's easy to change from one configuration to another.

I started using it as a RDTA and it works well. It's not as simple to wick as the Limitless Plus since it has holes in the deck, not notches, but still easy enough. The airflow is nice and easy to adjust. It does have a couple refill needle holes in the deck, but they are way too small. Refilling is easy though, just unscrew the barrel from the post and the whole top comes off and I can just pour the juice in the tank, simple. The flavor is really good, I like it.

It's simple to change to an RDA, just unscrew the barrel, screw on the bottom plate and you're good to go. Nice flavor, good airflow, it's a decent little RDA. My favorite is using it as a squonking RDA, just change out the pin and screw in the BF pin and you're good to go. The side airflow barrel provides more air, but you have to be more careful about over squonking, so juice doesn't come out the sides. The top airflow barrel works great for squonking. The airflow is a bit more restricted than the side AFC, but still good for DTL and it can also be closed down to get a real nice MTL draw as well.

I've been squonking a lot with it on my Dripbox and Dripbox 160. It works well with both those, but you do need to adjust the BF pin. I tightened the BF pin and then backed it out about a half turn and works well. With the top airflow, it's about impossible to over squonk and I haven't any seeps or leaks. I've really been digging it as a squonk atty. I've been using it with the chuff cap, but it does came with a 510 adapter and it worked well with a couple DT's I tried with it.

Overall, I really like the kit. The only thing that might be a concern is that the inner sleeve for both AFC's are Delrin. As long as I don't chain vape at high watts, it shouldn't be a problem and I don't see myself putting aggressive builds in it anyway.

Great to see some feedback on the squonking feature Roadtrip. What build are you running?
That is just the coils that it came with, Kanthal Claptons. The build ohms at 0.34 and I spaced it out. Yeah, I've been pretty happy with it as a BF RDA, that's been my favorite configuration. I've heard that Aspire is working on a Squonk mod, which I'd be interested in seeing.

Another Quad Flex owner checking in.
Got mine from Heaven Gift to! Can't wait too pop a build in it...

Mostly into drippers myself, or RTAs when I'm out and about, but always wanted to try out some RDTAs as well. This kit seems perfect. I get an RDTA and an RDA, plus a tank. :)
Wish they had a kit like this when I just started vaping - you get to try different options, with a single product. I like that.

Will update when I have more to add!
