@Nailz A silicone oring of proper size can be used to plug those juice holes for single coil builds. buy one with a slightly larger cross sectional diameter than the juice hole size, cut a long taper on one end to get it started through the hole, pull it through and then trim it off on both sides of the deck.
It would be a "semi permanent" fix and they would stay there as long as you wanted. Might not be super easy to remove them though.

Well USPS came through and delivered the Quad Flex a day early, so far I am really liking it, flavor is really good and doesn't get hot at all, which my avocado's can with using clapton coil.

Got a single clapton coil coming in at 1.5ohms, ended up splitting the cotton and covering the 2 free holes, and only got 1 long tail in the tank, which is working really well.

Looks pretty good on the lavabox DNA75 :)

Interesting thing about the rdta deck I just recently noticed, there are teeny tiny holes drilled through it to allow air to enter the tank. Now that's smart!
Having tiny air bleed holes like that help to keep the tank air pressure higher (near or at atmospheric) so juice flows out more freely but they are also small enough that our (thicker than water) ejuice won't run out through them.
Not something that would work well with bottom coil tanks but works awesome with gennys.:thumb:

Update: The Quad Flex is still my favorite high wattage flavor tank. It produces equivalent flavor to the Limitless Plus RDTA and iJoy Combo RDTA but with those air bleed holes I mentioned in my last post it hits exactly the same pull after pull. Unlike the L+ and iJoy Combo I just can't get this thing to slow down even if after 15 consecutive 3sec pulls. All Genesis style tanks should have air bleed holes imo. Way go Aspire!!!

I'm raising my review from 4.25 to 4.8 (out of 5 stars). It would be 5 out of 5 if it was a 24mm tank with 5+ ml capacity.

BTW: the tank holds 85 drops of 75vg juice which is closer to 3ml.

    Sooo... uh... been awhile!
I've been using the quad flex extensively for the last month or so, trying all the different options it offers (save for sqounker, because I don't have the hardware for that).
I must say I still like it, quite a lot. Normally I put on the Aspire RDTA when sitting down for a gaming session, where I know I won't have the time to drip

Not a fan of the Nautilus X though. MTL and me, we just can't seem to get along. But hey, everyone has their own prefrences.

The RDA is fine too. Sure, I still prefer my Tsunami, but I stand behind what I've said before - this is a very nice set for a beginner!

Ok, so i dont own one of these, but have been looking into it a lot.... .. ive got a couple of questions that maybe can be answered here...
1 can you use the nautilus x 4ml extension kit?
2 (this is because of a thread over in the squonk stuff about a bfed theorem) can you squonk the rdta?
If any of you guys can answer this it would be greatly appreciated pls and thanks.

I was at work and couldn't look when I answered the first question, just looked, no you can not squonk the RDTA. The pin in the bottom of it is solid, not removable. The pin in the top part of the RDTA, for the RDA setup, is removable and can be replaced with the squonk pin that is included.

I have had this thing laying around for awhile but haven't giving it a go yet. I have the limitless plus so figured it would be better but from the sounds of it there are some people that prefer the quadflex rdta compared to the limitless. I might give this a shot

Welcome to the thread @Sed8op8. I prefer the Quad Flex RDTA for flavor and vapor output consistency but I prefer the L+ for ease of wicking and juice capacity.
It takes some getting used to to get the wicktails through the juice holes on this atty but after a couple of tries I got it down. I found it easiest to twirl the ends of the wicktails to a point and feed the pointed tips through the juice holes with some tweezers or hemostats. No need to worry about too much wicktail thickness in the juice holes because this atty has tiny airbleed holes to allow air to enter the tank. This really controls juice flow wonderfully. Last just trim off the wicktails. I trim them really short to allow for more juice capacity and don't have problems with dryhits until the tank is very near empty.
Good luck, I think you're gonna love it.

I've only used mine in squonk mode with the top airflow & love it! One of these days I'll try it in rdta mode.
Right on! Sadly I don't have a squonk mod but I see no reason at all for the flavor or vapor output to change in RDTA mode below 85w. Above 85w the RDTA may not keep up with juice flow even with the airbleed holes. I'm dying to hear your feedback on that comparison highway!

Been a while since I posted on the one I won in a Heaven Gifts contest. Thanks again @AlmightyEvan :)

Well I have it setup as Nautilus X on my Pico (I did get the 4ml extension kit, 2ml was not enough), working good, not as good of flavor as the Nautilus/Nautilus Mini, but it is OK.

Got to looking at it the other parts and figured I could also put together a dripper, so I set up a bottom feeder on my Terminator Squonker. :D This for me is the best setup. Good vapor and flavor. Have it setup running .7Ω, 28 gauge, 8 wraps each, wicked with KGD cotton. Really good with TPR Blueberries & Cream. :)

Hey Burnie, I also won one these from somewhere. Never even opened it. Any comparison in performance between the Nautilus X setup and the iCare?

Nautilus X has a way better vape than the iCare. Open it and give it a try, I think you will like it. :)

Squonk'n away with the Quad Flex in RDA Squonk Mode on my new Lost Vapes Therion BF. It's still the best flavor atty I own whether in RDA, RDA BF or RDTA mode.
