Any word on when SI will get these? I see them all over the net, so I know/imagine that they will be offered at some time through SI.

I, being an idiot, did not realize my sinnamon was going to be an issue with the T3 BDC. I ordered 8 of them two weeks ago and have already killed 5 of them. Not very nice when it just breaks for no reason and soaks your shirt pocket with juice.

I was using the old T3's with no issue prior to moving to the aspire due to the unavailability of the T3 heads.

I have 15 BDC coils that will not be of any use as the tank never lasts long enough to require replacement of the coils.

BTW, I don't recall seeing a warning that curtain juices would readily destroy this type of tank. I almost feel like I was duped with this product. The previous model of Aspire T3 BDC, had larger coil and black orings, lasted significantly longer then the newer ones.

Thanks Maestro. I know there are a plethora of other options available to me, but I have dozens of spare coils for this model. If I were to go to another type of tank, I would take a loss on my investment.

Hence my post was in regards to a different type of material for the Aspire BDC tank. I know they are making this with a glass tank and SI either hasn't gotten it yet or don't plan on getting it.

My decision to move to a different tank will be dictated by the response from SI. If they do not plan of going to glass (they follow the trends in the market place, so I'm sure they will) I will end up going to another source. I am not one to do a little here and a little there. I like to one stop shop. IE If I go elsewhere to get my tanks, I will use that shop for every else as well. I have been using SI products for several years and would not enjoy moving to someone else.

Can the Aspire T3 glass tubes from the 510 versions be used with SI's 808 base and head? (Can you just buy an existing Aspire T3 glassomizer and replace the bottom base/coil assembly with SI stuff?) Or will the Aspire base/coil assembly fit into the old SI T3 body?

I would contact SI Customer Service. I thought they resolved the issue with Sinnamon with the new plastic they switched to awhile back, which is probably why the old T3s worked OK (that can be your argument). If they've opted to stick with polycarbonate on the Aspire line (the type of plastic that cracks/melts like that), instead of switching to the good plastic, they should've let people know. I was under the impression that they were using the good plastic on ALL their clearos, INCLUDING the Aspire line.
