I've an Aspire Glass BDC 3.5 mil tank from nhaler in the mail. I'm pretty excited but also a bit nervous. I have a feeling I'm either going to love it or hate it. Anyone else have any vape time on one of these tanks?

just an fyi I only use 50/50 juice and typically vape at 9W for what that counts.

that's good to hear. So far I've been disappointed in just about every clearo I've tried including but not limited to the iclear30, the draw was way to tight, iclear16 for the same reason, the protank2 and 3 coils are garbage, evod leaks all the time vision mini nova leaks and has way too little capacity, smok vivi nova is just cheap junk and the halo triton tanks. I actually like the triton tanks a lot but the coils burn out pretty fast and they only fit on triton batteries unless you use an adapter.

I've been using an Ibtanked cartotank with some ikenvape platinum punch 2ohm cartos and have been pleased with the system. I ordered some xl or mega sized tanks and ikv cartos now Im trying to figure out whats gonna give me the best flavor and vapor out of the Ikenvape cartos. They have a fusion, a platinum and a platinum S line and people swear by all 3 different types and I cant find any real answers.

Looks like its gonna be the the 22mm 4.5ml XL Ibtanked cartotank with Ikenvape mega LR cartos (not sure between fusion/platinum/S) Vs. the Nhaler Aspire bdc glass 3.5ml tank for the top spot. I wonder who's gonna win

how much do you know about ikenvape cartos? they're supposed to be the bees knees and people swear by each of their different types of cartos. can you fill me in on what the core difference is exactly in how they vape. There's the fusion, platinum and platinum S. The fusions have smaller punch holes and a thinner poly fill where as the platinums have a denser fill with larger punch holes. Then there's the S which I think have the same dense poly fill as the platinums but with a single long but thin vertical laser cut hole.

The carto tank will win. Just like my REO wins for me every time. There is however a place for a non leaking half decent clearo in my collection.I can't drive with the REO and in the summer here the temperature variations make my carto tanks do weird stuff.
You can't drive with the REO?
I vaped 6ml through mine while driving all day today ...

What am I missing here?

You are missing my very very VERY tiny hands. I can't hold the steering wheel and anything bigger than an ego. SO my REO is my 90% of the day vape and the ego or cigalike while driving.

Put it this way my fingers do not come close to touching when wrapped around the REO.

THe ECF person to really talk to about cartos is Baditude. He is sort of the carto + tank God around here.

I've been using the Aspire BDC from nHaler for 3 weeks now, and (to me) its been the best clearo I've owned. Have not had one issue with it. I even boiled down two of the heads yesterday to re-use them at a later date. I took one apart, but found its nearly impossible to keep the flat wrap wicking inside the cup in place to reassemble it. They're not that expensive anyway, so if I can boil clean them at least one time before tossing them then its worth it.

I have the plastic version of that aspire and LOVE it. Never leaks or dry hits for me and I also vape 50/50. Best clearo I have found so far.

I tried 2 of the plastic mini nova tanks on a whim. Boy am I glad I did. I kid you not... I now have the 2 originals, 3 vivi plastics and 3 more minis on the way with 5 extra heads. I had a bit of trouble when I went to replace a head once but I got that worked out with some help from here (I think I was tightening the new head too much and causing a short). The "magic three" of flavor/vapor/throat hit on these is really great. Makes a CE style clearo look stupid, the older style Vivi Novas (authentic Vision) taste whack, and even the juice hog iClear30 can't match the flavor from these bad boys.

Case in point, I've been loving Halo Tribeca in my expensive Russian 91 RBA. On a whim last night I decided to try it in one of the Aspires. I get much more tobacco flavor out of the Aspire. I get a little more sweetness out of the Russian. And I'm comparing a $9 atty tank to a $100 RBA. In a very unfair fight, the Aspire stands tall. I have no need for the glass ones though given the juice I use but if they are at all like the plastics, you're in for a treat.

Has anyone had the mystery of tasting sort of a wall-insulation-ish taste from the Aspire heads? I keep trying to test the Aspire more than any other in my device rank, as the vapor it produces is unreal, but the flavor has been pretty whack.

To be honest as well, I've experienced some pretty bad leaking to the point I always use an air-flow controller as a guard - at the very least, it always leave a little bit of juice on the connection, at the worst, it just pours out.

I'm kind hoping that maybe it's some sort of seal issue causing some funky pressure issues, leading to dry wicking or alternatively flooding, but I've been having some pretty big problems out of it. Luckily, the connection issue with these is really easy to fix, I never have any real problems with that.

how long do these coils last before they burn out?

I got mine just recently from Nhaler, as well, and there is something really off about the taste. There's a funky chemical taste and the juice seems muted. The vapor was great and it didn't leak. I have another one that I haven't opened that I plan to test tomorrow. So far the best thing I've found is the PT knock off that Smoktech makes.
