Apparently there is a new version coming at the end of the month. Saw it on Aspire's website. They will also be having a new coil, .5 ohm clapton coil.

I've been playing with the Triton 2 the past two days and really like it. It does use the Triton 1 RTA. The 0.5 ohm clapton seems pretty good but only part of the coil is wrapped (in the one I got with the tank, that is). Need to buy a pack of them and play more.

Any chance you've used a 1.8 coil on it? Wondering if they fixed the spit and gurgle issues from the first.

I have a 1.8 but haven't tried it yet. I will though when the Clapton wears out.

So far the 1.8 coil is working well at 13W. You can hear the usual popping but no spitting or gurgling issues at all for me with 50VG juice.

I had some wicking issues with the 0.5 ohm Clapton and 70VG juice and the cotton got a bit toasty, so I needed to switch coils a lot earlier than I thought.

The Triton RTA kit I got with my Triton 2 worked perfectly. It's in the usual metal container, says "Triton RTA" (not Triton 2) and there's nothing in the instructions that says it only works with the Triton 1.

Why couldn't you use it on your Triton 2?

it's my triton2.
when use triton RTA system, it get gap.
I suppose that triton RTA system is longer than triton coil cause get gap...

Interesting! I don't get that gap at all.
If your RTA is screwed in all the way then perhaps they shortened the RTA a bit for later production runs? Or your threads weren't finished?

What did Aspire say when you contacted them about this?
