I love this thing!......when it works! It worked great until the 2nd fill up then it started gurgling and flooding. I opened the tank multiple times to clean/clear it up to only the same problems after like the 3rd of 4th hit. I changed voltages but to no avail. In anger I dumped my juice and washed everything out and let it dry. Fast forward a week later and I just filled it up again tonight and it's hitting like a champ! I also love my protank 2 but this seems to be floating my boat a lot more. lol. It has a tighter draw with more flavor and vapor.

I use mine on my provari mini and it works perfect tightened all the way down.

I "second" this! I've got the full size Vivi glass tank on my Provari Mini. Tightened down all the way and it works like a charm!....No airflow controller needed. I've been using mine for about 5 days now, and am REALLY liking the way that it works!:D

Only problem I have found so far is that these things are flimsy. I had it in my pocket walking around and it came apart in my pocket leaking juice all over. I would rather pay more and have these things be more durable. If I cannot keep my ecig in my pocket that makes it pretty useless when out and about.

Most importantly....it vapes amazingly well and I'm simply using it on a basic non VV battery.
That's interesting. 3.6 ohms on a non-VV battery and it vapes amazing? I'm curious, what battery? I'm just asking as one would think you'd need at least a consistent 4v minimum to get a decent vape...

A 1.8Ω dual coil is comprised of two 3.6Ω coils, wired in parallel. The power is split between the coils and the resistance is halved. I'm currently vaping a 1.8Ω device at 3.7v - that's 7.6w - pretty much the best spot for me with this particular juice.

I have been corrected. It appears I may have misunderstood when dual coils were explained to me, but, hmmm, I don't know. Anyway, I'm not sure now either way.

I think I'm going to stay with my single coils.

A 1.8 ohm single coil head would work quite nicely there. A 1.8 ohm dual coil head splits the power across two coils. You would be hitting each 1.8 ohm coil with 3.8w in your situation. Additionally, a basic ego (which I imagine op was talking about, but asked for clarification) can only push a little more than 2 amps. I dunno, doesn't really add up.

Edit: 3.7v is towards the upper end of what a fully charged basic ego can output under load. As you say, it's a nice spot to vape a 1.8 ohm single coil. A basic ego is theoretically 2.5 amps though real world use puts it a little closer to 2. Spread across 2 coils you have split those 2 amps to 1 amp per coil. You could barely hit 3.8w on both coils and you'd be hitting your maximum current draw at that feeble wattage. I don't think this would vape at all :/.

Okay. Dual coils are not my forte. I vape to taste, so don't consider amps most of the time anyway. I think this is the only dual coil I've ever tried, and 1.8Ω at 3.7v is working for me - if it's too cool I turn it up, too warm I turn it down. In any case, the Aspire isn't filling me with glee. I bought the plastic one, when I meant to buy the glass one and I can really taste the plastic.

I got 5pk of heads from HHV in store for $9.99. Anyone thinking of using Aspire please note these things are awesome but kinda require a "break-in". Ive had problems with dry-hits, flooding, leaking you name it but after learning to NOT power vacuum it like a cigarette and giving it a good prime they have worked great. My favorite flavor is HHV Blueberry muffin which is dark and viscous and I usually get about a week on the head. Any lighter liquids I haven't needed to change a head yet.
