If you dont want to spend a fortune but you want have some ability to expand into devices that need more watts....

Look at the Eleaf Istick 30watt. The new 30watt addressed the complaints about the 20watt. Mainly adding a stainless steel spring loaded 510 connection. The Nautilus should fit and run nicely on the Istick 30watt. It ran fine on my 20watt but the signal is not as smooth as the 30watt (according to reviews). It will also fire down to .4ohm if you ever care to venture into sub ohm devices like the Atlantis or Kanger SUB Tank.

Hard to beat for sub $40.

What's the benefit of having a battery where you can change the wattage?

Using a variable wattage or variable voltage mod (device) has several advantages. A couple that immediately come to mind:

1. You'll find that different e-juices taste and perform better at different settings. Being able to dial in your wattage to find that perfect balance of flavor and vapor production based on the juice you're using is a really nice thing.

2. As you start to get more into vaping, you'll most likely start buying more atomizers. Different atomizers come with different resistances and you'll want to adjust your mod's wattage to suit the atomizer you're using.

How do you know the resistant your atomizer has just google I'm guessing?

I'm assuming you'll be buying atomizers with disposable coils (like the Nautilus you're looking at, various Kanger products, etc), in which case the resistance will be listed in the product description. Aspire coils like the BVC (bottom vertical coil) for the Nautilus will also have the resistance stamped onto the coil itself.

Should you decide to upgrade to rebuildable atomizers in the future, the resistance of the atomizer will be entirely dependent on the coil you decide to build for said device. But that comes later after you've learned about Ohm's law, battery safety and the like.

What do you guys know about the melo atomizer? Any good? Would you guys suggest nautilus or melo?

Ok, the MELO has sub ohm coils. That means less then 1.0 ohm and usually with sub-ohm vape you are going to need higher wattages and you will be getting more vapor. You need to know a little bit about batteries and restiances and wattage and so forth if you want to go the sub ohm route so you really need to read up if you are going to go that route (which I personally don't suggest till latter, but your ganna do what you want.) If you are so inclined to sub ohm that you wont wait I would suggest an I Stick 50W and a DeltaII. I don't like the MELO at all, the DeltaII or Subtank mini both outperform it substantially imo.

Possibily the best bet for you is still the 50W (you might need that wattage latter and it saves you from having to make another purchase) and a Nautilus. Latter if you decide you want bigger vapor and so forth that sub ohm provides you can get a new clearo or an RBA once you learn some more things.

Given the questions you are asking... I would highly suggest you purchase a regulated mod like the iLeaf or something similar. Aspire attomizers like the Nautilus or Nautilus mini would do you fine but avoid the Atlantis or any sub-ohm or rebuildable tank until you learn more about ohm's law and battery safety.

Right behind you...
Skip the Nautilus, it's not a huge upgrade over your current Kanger. But since you have the iStick 30w, get an Aspire Atlantis or Kanger Subtank Mini or Joyetech Delta II or eLeaf Melo (not released yet) and some 3mg or 6mg juice, set the wattage at 25w or so, take a nice hit, and say hello to 2015. :)
