I got some cellucotton and I am liking it right now. My next best was straight boiled organic cotton the gf has for doing her nails. Lol

Gonna vouch this. Never used rayon/cellucotton with a aspire coil, but in my other applications of it, it performs better than organic cotton. Close second would be organic cotton, I don't boil it personally but maybe that's just me.

Only use silica if you plan on using dry burning as a cleaning method IMO... And even then you'd be better off going with stainless steel/ceramic wicks. Maybe that's just me and my hatred for silica tho :p

Another voucher for rayon/cellucotton. Not only have I wicked my kayfuns and caterpillar with it, I also re-wicked both my Mini PT IIs and my ARO Pyrex with it, and now those little tanks provide flavor almost as good as a the kayfun's. If I still used my T3S's I'd re-wick those too, and I bet they'd be equally great, with that rayon. Amazing stuff.

I never tried rayon, but I hate cotton. It has that cottonish flavour which I can't stand! And the vapour feels very dry with it. Yuck! So it's silica for me, lol.
I have tried almost every wicking materials i can think of like silica, ekowhool, ss mesh, ss rope, cotton, and donuts, but rayon is the best for me and the second is cotton, you should boil the cotton first then maybe the icky feeling will be gone and be sure to use 100% organic cotton. But you obviously have to try rayon its great[emoji6]

Ok, I bought some rayon! Well, not 100% rayon, but a blend of cotton and viscose since I can't find 100% viscose here. But my god... It is day and night compared to organic cotton in EVERY way! No more icky smell, ultra-fast wicking, a lot easier to work with, simply A LOT BETTER! I'm very happy with this 1.50 EUR purchase, best and cheapest upgrade ever :)

I only use Koh Gen Do 100% Pure Cotton. No chemicals, no boiling, no break-in. Plus, it's a lot easier to work with than anything else I've tried. I just peel the pad in half and cut to size. I wouldn't use anything else.

"Made from 100% cotton that has not been chemically treated, bleached or pigmented. Raised without the use of chemical fertilizer or pesticides to ensure pure, safe quality"

Here's a video you might find interesting.

the "cottonish" flavor comes from using too much cotton. The cotton expands when it wicks. I use organic cotton in my pt2, and the flavor is great. It took some tinkering to find the right amount to use, too much and airflow suffered and bad flavor, too little and coil has hot spots and you get burnt flavor. Find the right amount and yummie

I found rayon, it makes a perfect wick no matter how I throw it in. And this 100g bag will last like forever.
